Is it the female avatars that makes people think some of us are female?

I think it's the style of your morphs, actually :3 I also believed you were female ^^

@ Wyldsong: Frankly, for me it was the female avatar^^ It's just that in RL nearly every guy sort of panics when seen as being/ acting girlish (probably because of the gay connotation in there...). Which is totally silly, of course. You just have to be man enough to not pay attention to such nonsense :)  (As if being a girl or being gay was such a bad thing... <_< )

guys always acting like macho di-ks pisses me off. there's no problem with being a sensitive guy, but I'm not about to wear fluorescent pink haha.

now I'm curious about what people thought of me before either looking at my profile, or before this thread.

I avoid making assumptions of people's gender on the internet, and consider everyone unisex until it's made clear..  Ultimately, the gender doesn't matter here, mainly because you're not going to get any on the internet anyway it's like eye color, not really visible or relevant. Besides, I've seen people pretending to be the opposite sex for what ever reason.

Well, guys, it's not as if I was sitting in front of my PC pondering every person's gender based on the avatars.^^ It's more of a subconcious thing... seeing something and then automatically associating it with something else without really thinking about it. Happens every day. And when I get corrected it's fine, I don't have any problems 'adapting' (meaning I can very well picture a guy behind the girl avatar once I know about it) :)

@ YH: To be truthful I had problems placing you... was never really sure about you until I saw your pic^^

But come on guys, you can't tell me you don't at least throw the random guess now and again as to who hides behind the avatars...? :D

@Cala - Believe me, I understand, and it is only natural to do so. But I generally try not too, because I have been wrong in the past. So I try not to put gender to the forum dwellers=)

We need a NJ Nightmare hair mod LOL.

I don't think it's the avatar per se. Yeah more like the style of the morph and general self presentation!

For example if your avatar is a blonde using the Don't Worry Be Hairy hair, and you're using the B-day Cake Stripper costume, I'd automatically peg you as a guy.

yep exactly Mlaii00 - but to be honest - I have NO idea if you are a male/Female - *lol*

I think such a cheeky dwarf like Snotra can only be made from a male - and if I think about the comments - I would tend to say you are a male = but oh well let it still be a secret ;)
