dont know what to assume. I put the disk in, and when it asks for my registration code I put the code that came on the back of the manual, but then when I click "next" it says that the code is invalid.
P.S. i am incredibly pissed about this whole thing already, since my 360 got a red ring WHILE i was playing, and then gamestop gave me a 2nd 360 disk when i payed for a PC, then i get home after getting the right disk, it STILL(!!!!!!!!) doesnt $#@% WORK!!
registration code not working

Are you sure you're reading it right? Sometimes people mistake 5 for S or B for 8 or I for 1 or A for 4 etc.

thankfully i have no is, Ls, or 1s in my code, no os or zeros, i have one a, or maybe a 4 if they look that similar in the registration code. i'll try it as a 4, and try my supposed s as a 5 for now

well that took all of 15 seconds... not a 4 / A or a 5 / S. These other characters are in my code (if I am perceiving them right):
F, U, 6, M, X, N, C, R, Y, H, 3, K, P, T, 2, and F

OK, here's a roundabout way of doublechecking:
1. Grab the EA download manager: http://eastore.ea.com/eadm
2. Click on the "Activate" tab after doing the whole login routine and input the code there.
All EA games now allow you to get digital copies using the same key from the CD. If it accepts the code, then somethings wrong with the installer on the disc, and you'll have to get another copy. But you could download it in the meantime, and it's actually fairly useful to be able to play the game without having to stick the disc in the drive.

That's an interesting tip I did not know.
Thanks

Just watch out for the annoying install restrictions: you have to uninstall the one from the disc, otherwise the EA download manager won't let you install the digital copy you just downloaded; you can only launch the game. And make sure that the Dragon Age folder in Program Files is fully nuked. I had a big chunk of Awakening stuff left over and the game got hoplessly confused as to whether or not it was present after I installed the digital copy. And of course, EADM wouldn't let me reinstall Awakening until I got rid of it, but I must've missed a couple files elsewhere because it was still all twitchy, so l I just said "Screw it" and went the clean slate route, after which everthing was fine. You can keep the toolset database though, as it's got a folder of it's very own, so that's something.
