 I was wondering if there existed a Dragon Age Timeline. Ive scoured the wiki and read both books. I tried looking for one and i couldn't find it. I find timelines of important events help give me an understanding of the nature and history of the place. There are a lot of important events that have transpired, that are all dated. So seeing a timeline of that, along with ages, blights, important battles, the book events, etc, would be awesome to behold. I'm probably the only one that thinks so though.... 

So if there is one out there, please let me know. If someone wants to try their hand at it (or a developer with some extra time...), I would love to see one.

There is a partial timeline here:  if you haven't yet seen it which I believe holds much of the information revealed thus far. Hopefully the devs will flesh out something more official.

That mini timeline was nice thank you Casuist. From all the lore that I've read I'm starting to think that no matter how awesome DA:O is gonna be, I think the sequel is gonna blow it away, kinda like BGI and BGII. Why do I think this? Because all the little tidbits I've read lead me to believe the rest of Thedas beyond Ferelden is going to be really really awesome, Antiva and Orlais have already tickled my imagination.

Its based off of France so, yes.
