*possible spoilers*
Hi everyone, well I have looked at all of the forums and articles I
could find to answer my question but I can't figure this out. When I
beat Mass Effect 2 and the end cut-scene finished, it gives you the
option to continue with your character to do side quests, I chose this
option as I wanted to explore a little more before I put the game away.
But now I am confused...
How do I export my saved games to Cerberus so they are ready for me
when mass effect 3 comes out. Does it do this export automatically, do
I have to do it manually? and if I have to do it myself, how do I do
that?
I am crazy confused on this point and would love some advice or answers. Thanks in advance!

In ME2, any save made after the final mission can be imported into ME3, just as it can be re-imported into ME2 to play through again.
Go to the ME2 main menu screen, select Import ME2 Character, and you should see a list of all valid careers/saves. These should theoretically also be importable when ME3 comes around.

Okay well that makes sense for sure
I think I may have some wrong info then, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but doesnt ME2 have a system that uploads your saved game off you xbox and onto a server that bioware has? If I am wrong that would explain a lot of my confusion.
Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of, and I've had the game since day 1. Never heard of such a thing.
