Long story short, I installed(or attempted to install) the toolset on SP2 and I want to get rid of it.

While I'm in safemode, it wont let me uninstall the SQL programs. Attempting to uninstall them either reboots the computer or just gives me a prompt saying it cannot uninstall.

What can I do to get rid of it?

okay go into msconfig (press win +R) and type "msconfig" click on the service tab. browse it and locate all MS SQL nodes and disable them. Save your changes.



this should prevent your computer from hanging and might help also with uninstalling.
