If you mean it's hard to get a good face on a femshep, try masseffect2faces.com. They have some good female faces(but a lot more male).I99I Dragoon wrote...

Its funny that practically everything looks good on a male Shepard, but most of it is awful on the female except for the default stuff. Though I prefer the strength boost pads on her over the N7 ones.
Anyone else feel the same?
I agree! I try and I try, but I can never make a sweet-lookin Femshep....
If you mean armor set, it's not that hard to find what looks good, just choose whichever one emphasizes her curves(although it can be hard to make that armor set good gameplay-wise).

I don't change much with the armor.
Helmet: None
Shoulders: Strength Boost Pads
Chest: Aegis Vest
Arms: N7 Gauntlets
Legs: N7 Greaves
Generally I change one of the tints to a red color, so it stands out a bit more.

Yea, the face I got off of the site. It looks great, but like I said, it gets difficult. I mean, I can throw on the same combination I have on my main Male Shepard, but it sure as hell doesn't look feminine.
Any ideas on what parts highlight her curves though would be great. I've experimented, but I just can't get anything....lol. Armor Fail, I guess

Helmet: visor (especially useful for infiltrator)
Shoulders: Strength Boost Pads (the vorcha will wash off afterwards)
Chest: Aegis Vest (best non-default armour for femshep)
Arms and legs: default
colour: dark green. all ninja like.

Recon Hood
N7 Shoulder Guards
Stabilization Gauntlets
Shield Harness
N7 Greaves
Tint 1 - Black
Tint 2 - Grey
Pattern - None
Pattern Color - White
The Recon Hood looks like a SpecOps piece of equipment, so I went with a black and grey color scheme to fit the look. I actually prefer the Strength Boost Pads, as they don't have the stripe on the right shoulder, but the set was chosen for bonuses as well as looks, and I'm not willing to pass up that extra 3% weapon damage the shoulders give.

I use a different set for the class:
Sentinel: Sentry interface, shield harness, amplifier plates, heavy damping gauntlets, ordnance packs.
Adept: Umbra visor, N7 chestplate, amplifier plates, off-hand ammo pack, ordnance packs.
etc, etc...

For both my Vanguard and Adept characters, I've never felt the need to move from my Visor/Amp Plates/Stabilizer Gauntlets/Shield Hardness/Life Support Webbing set up. Boosts to health, damage and shielding - it's all good.

No helmet
Strength Boost Pads
Aegis armor
Stabilization Gauntlets
Ordinance Pack
Usually I go with a tan/grey camo color scheme. I find that I works well in most areas due to the way it handles lighting.

A good color to try is Silver with a light gray camo. Looks like a tarnished silver color.

I use whatever looks the best, the actual stats doesn't matter as much. Even on insanity.

Well, hopefully, despite the riotous reaction to the new Equilizer Pack, hopefully someone can make a neat lookin Shep with those new headpieces...

I don't see much point in maxing stat boosts (e.g., wearing more than one piece of armor that improves cooldown) because the percentage gains aren't really noticeable after just one piece. So if I'm going for practicality, I'll wear one thing that boosts running speed (because I am impatient sometimes), one thing that improves cooldown or weapon damage, and one thing that improves shields.
Mostly I just want Shepard to look good, though. My favorite is the ... I forget the name, the eyepiece that boosts headshot damage, which is both functional and good-looking on an Infiltrator, without covering his face.

I've got to say, the capacitor chest and helmet combined makes for some crazy fast shield regen. I think (and I may be wrong) the stock shield regen time is 7 seconds. With the two capacitor pieces, that regen time feels like its been cut down to 5 seconds.

I generally go with the Sentry Interface, Capacitor Chestplate, Asymmetric Defense Layer shoulders, Stabilization Gauntlets, and Life Support Webbing on the legs. So I spread the stats around a bit, get a little boost on just about everything. I might try the new visor and the Shield Harness next time though.
I like a balance of looking good and function...I won't use the Death Mask or Recon Hood despite the bonuses because I hate the way they look. Basically I pick the "best" items I can stand to look at lol and generally I like the way my Sheps look. For coloring, I go with a dark gray and either light blue trim or red for a real N7 Alliance look.
I just realized that most of those are the most expensive items lol. No wonder my FemShep is always broke.

Take my original post, substitute the Archon helm for the N7 helm, voila.
Also, maybe change the color scheme to orange/black instead of red/black.
Cheers.

I use the cooldown reducing visor on my assault sentinel only. That's because with the 12sec base cooldown, those 5% are at least noticable. On other classes though (soldier, vanguard, adept) I didn't really feel those 5%.
Other than that, I use melee shoulderpads and storm speed boots on any class I play, and that's also because those are the only armor upgrades I actually feel during gameplay. Others are cosmetic for me.
