true but the graphics were years apart.I played both and both had good points and bad points but I still prefer Oblivion. Its all a matter of personal choice as in any gameEli-da-Mage wrote...
I liked Morrowind and this sounds silly but the graphics made oblivion superior for me. As much as i care for a games performance...it has to look good.
does anyone still play Oblivion

I wouldn't flame you.Your likes may differ from mine and thats just peachy by me.Getting flamed by someone for liking one game over another is childish. I truely enjoyed both games but as I said my preference is Oblivon. I just liked more about it than I did morrowind. If people flame you over that then they're just DH'sEli-da-Mage wrote...

Just finished installing it. Now all I have to do is spend a few hours installing a lot of mods.

I find I tend to have this problem with sandbox games in general, I get bored with them quickly and rarely finish them.

the PC version is the way to play it.Mods open up so many aspects of the game that it truely becomes your own RPG.Baracuda6977 wrote...
i was playing oblivion on the Xbox a couple months ago, the storyline was crap but i had fun making an overpowered character and going on max difficulty and STILL wrecking on a lvl 25ish character that took a month to get, my friend borrowed it (still has it /angry face) and in a week had a lvl 35 character and i was like WTF
fun game to mess around in though, REALLY wish i had the pc version so i could get those mods though

It's funny how people said the same about Daggerfall when Morrowind was out. Bugs aside, it's Bethesda's crowning glory.dark-lauron wrote...
I still liked Morrowind better. Many more skills, far more to do. Many guilds, many sidequest and a thrilling island. Oh and you can fly on Morrowind.... and jump to the highest point with a scroll you get early on... to then get killed while landing.... And who can forget my level 67 orc warlock... oh the days, perfection. I was 8 levels from completition, with luck on 92, and the rest on 100. Then... the hard disk failed... and the orc died... permanently. I was so proud. He would jump in the battle with his frozen morning star and throw death at his enemies (he had 100 in both acrobatics and blunt weapons... and another 2 dozens more skills). He had 620 life and 300 magicka... Oh, my good old orc

When it comes to games, especially the Grand Theft Auto franchise, I get extremely bored right away, I have never completed any GTA game in my life.cynicalsaint1 wrote...
I could never really get into Oblivion to be honest. I tried, but I just got bored with it quickly. I had the same problem with Fallout 3 too.

Mods are the way to play this game but I don't really wanna start it all over again.Better to read Elder Scrolls:The Infernal City first.Maybe the book can light The Dragonfires in me and I wanna play the game again
I'd rather play Oblivion than read that book. I can't get past the first chapter at all.
