I keep on getting killed by the second group of bandits in Lothering, does anyone have any tips on getting past them?

You mean the bandit quest? theres three in total it can be done numerous ways depending on class, the mabari pack is tricky without planning the nearest to the fence is quite easy, the trickiest is the one with the bandit leader I usually am a mage along with morrigan alistair and dog, use dread howl to stun leader if you have it, make sure to gain dominace from tree, use your melee to cover morrigan as she can dispatch most with little effort, they will try to hunt her down though.

Fall back around the hill with the house (mill?) on top so the archers won't have line of sight to you. Try and concentrate on one bandit at a time. Use poison if you can, and remember to activate Morrigan's Frost Weapon spell and Allistair's Shield Defence ability.

Don't take that quest, or just go immediately to the left when leaving Lothering so they don't see you. I kept getting killed by them too, but these methods seem to work.

It's hardly a major spoiler, but if the answers start explaining specific strategies, then it's quite conceivable that many people would rather work it out themselves. And, after all, there IS a forum dedicated for just such strategy and tactic discussion. Why not post there?
