You guys need to branch out of just your "Squad mates". I thought this was a discussion dedicated to others. I really hope you like characters that aren't part of your squad, such as Mess Sergeant Gardner or Pitne For.

Okay, if you want outside the box:



Kal'Reeger and Gillian Grayson would have been interesting to have as squadmates.



I'm also hoping for a Batarian and a Vorcha as squadmates in ME3.

We've done every race that can fight, these are the only two left that haven't joined the Normandy club.

It would have to be Tali because of her storyline, and how much of a shift her character made from ME1 TO ME2. Garrus would be second because pretty much everything he does, or says in the game is badazz lol. Grunt because he yells out the funniest lines during battle. and I love all the characters but I do not want to type forever...

Tali and Legion. The tech skills and abilities beat all. Gotta love Grunt too. Brute force is always welcome.

Favorite squadmates (ME2 only)

• Tali: I will freely admit to tearing up when I romanced her.
• Legion: He's a geth, and I like his word choice and lack of understanding of organics is both humorous and insightful.
• Mordin:  A very interesting backstory/moral dilema.  I love his loyalty mission just because of the dialog.
• Samara: I like the contention she brings up with her code, and how following it is painful for her.  And her mission track is AMAZING.

Favorite non squadmates:

• The Ilium bartender (Aethyta, I think):  Funniest NPC in the game, I listen to all her dialog every playthrough.
• The Admiralty Board:  Not a single person, but I think it's cool how BioWare put the "good guys" as the ones pressing for a potentially devestating war, while the "bad guys" are the ones looking for a peaceful solution.
• Kal'Reegar:  Sure would have been nice if he had some grenades, don't'cha think?
• Joker/EDI:  Joker goes without saying, but I liked the banter he had with EDI.
