Side note - Would have like to seen more dialogue depth with all the squad mates.

Bioware have done well in creating a diverse bunch of characters, that i have been able to swap and change in every mission instead of settling on a favourite two like i did in mass effect.

But by far my most favourite is Mordin, not the best fighter, but the best character

Thane Legion and Samara come a close second.

The only one i dislike is Jack

Agreed.  I like mixing up my teammates, but there are very few games where I actually like more than a few people enough to bring them along.

The REAL question is...what's up with the two characters that are ALWAYS at the mess hall table?! I wanted to stop by on several pass bys to ask them what the f*ck do they DO other than sit at the table, eat, and complain (or compliment) the cook?

Its like Norm and Cliff Claven from Cheers, those two.

Never thought i'd ever hear someone say "she goes down too often".  Goes down too often?! 

OK, she and Legion are useful together against Geth and bots because they both have AI hack.  Useful as hell.  Also useful is combat drone (from either or both) because that, like AI hack, temporarily gives you extra team mates who draw fire off of you and does damage while you focus fire.

Jack, cuz we could seriously pirate together and she'd talk like a pirate on talk like a pirate days.

Thane, cuz he's cool and Mordin cuz he does show tunes.

Grunt and Tali, cuz I need some teenagers to send on errands.

and finally Zaeed, cuz he has facial scars. And those are always cool.

The rest are boring and I'm pretty sure Jacob gave Kelly scale itch.

My overall favorite ME2 character? I would have to give my vote to Legion. Legion is absolutely fascinating. Interesting back story, interesting personality, fascinating perspective... There's so much to Legion's story and its a fascinating character. I love the geth too; I'm sure this only helps Legion become a favorite in my book. I hope Legion gets to feature prominently in the next game as a party member.

Besides for Legion, I like Garrus, Tali, Mordin, and Grunt. Kasumi and Zaeed too, actually, wish we had more time with them and more actual cutscene storyline advancements. Aww heck, I like all of them really. The only team members I don't like as much are Miranda and Jacob. Jacob because he stops having story mid-way through the game and just insists its time to party, and Miranda because she has an annoyingly ... witchy personality.

Miri- my Shep has finnaly found someone he loves

Garrus- him and my shep are best friends, period

From ME2 Tali because she's so lovable and sweet and I can't help but love her. Joker, well come on it's Joker. Miranda, she's not a "witch" like we first think and she does have a heart, a very hidden heart but it's there. Garrus, I laugh each time he says "yep just like old times" and how he supports shep. Kisume because well... IDK why. Guess it's because she has the whole rogue thing going. Samara because she's so calm under pressure and only wants to make the galaxy better. I felt bad for her when she killed her daughter.

*What the hell? There's a profanady filter?

I love Grunt, hes all about the fighting. I use him a lot as my bodyguard and Mordin is so funny, Tali and Kasumi are adorable and Miranda is gal pal. Garrus is reliable and great buddy. Oh Legion is just so sweet. He looks like he needs a hug!



They are my all time favourites in ME 2.

in mass effect 2 gameplay wise I either go with Miranda and Mordin or Miranda and Garrus,but for the character themselves I like Grunt,Tali and Garrus
