I was told that all I needed to do was register my copy of Dragon Age - Origins, now I'm told theres a redemption code. So am I to understand that because I bought my copy of Dragon Age a few months early that I'm not applicable for this armor add-on?

If you bought the game new, there is a sheet of paper tucked in the box with the redemption code on it (also for the free Shale DLC). Hurry and use it because the codes expire at the end of this month.

there should be a card in the package with codes for both the armour and shale dlc's.

edit: and what exactly do you mean when you say you bought it early... this game was released last year.

There should be a code inside the box and you have to enter it through the game. At the title screen go to downloads and there should be an option to redeem the code for certain DLC.
