I may have to give in and buy a better stick. Just can't decide between the old and new TE, or Hori sticks. Don't really know much about 'em.

If you like the pad, MadCatz makes a killer fight pad. Gamestop has a **** ton of them for the 360. I just find the normal PS2/3 and 360 pad to be not to my taste.
I got two of these when SFIV was released on PC. One I bought and another as a birthday gift. Both with Chun-li on it. (Yes, I main her.
Still, compared to a stock pad I also recommend it. A stick is better, but definitely buy one of these if money is an issue, of if there is no good spot to rest a stick while playing. They work pretty well for other games too. Come to think of it, I should try Jade Empire PC with it.

As for which TE MasterSword, I think the difference is just cosmetic. The SF4 one may be a bit cheaper though, as it isn't brand new.

I was vicious with Charlie in the Alpha series, and could do some real damage with him. Whereas I'd usually lose taking one of the more conventional characters. I think Street Fighter III was the first game that wasn't the case. At least until 3rd Strike reintroduced Chun-li. >.< (I wasn't thrilled with Remy.)
Yes, you're right about the controller. I just meant that it's not the most comfortable pad, I guess. To hear some people during SFIV's release, it's the best pad ever made.

I wish that SSF4 had a gallery/theater mode, nonetheless my Gamertag is Ulyaoth Ev.
Yeah, I agree. And the replay channel is kinda iffy. Very difficult to find a good fight, it's just setup so weird. Definitely an area where they should've copied Blazblue. Anyway I'll be sending ya a friend request soon.

Kordras, do you play with a regular 360 pad or the special fightpad? I've been trying to learn this game on the 360 pad, but execution on my moves is very inconsistent. I use the the left analog stick for digital inputs because on the d-pad I make too many accidental jumps (more than on the analog stick).
When the tournament mode dlc comes we should all do a social.bioware tournament...
For American social.bioware community members only, except those living in the states of NY and FL.

Sweet, we're slowly building up a good number of players.
Noticed a few of us have Blazblue gamerpics too... we may have to play that some as well.

Usually I use the left stick over the d-pad, though sometimes I switch around. Quarter circles seem to be easier to pull off with it, but half rotations and full circles need a joystick IMO.

I only rented Blazblue, but I loved it. Was going to buy it, but then heard about Continuum Shift in July. That's going to be a midnight buy for me.

I haven't been playing much yet, as I'm also just getting started on a little game called Mass Effect 2, but I plan on mixing in some more SSF4. Have any of you guys gotten to play each other yet?

I'm xbl friends with Kordras, but we haven't fought yet. He's pretty intimidating being ~ 50,000 ranks higher than me.
Haha, I wish I were as good as that implied.
Edit: Also, I am getting destroyed. XD The dude who joined, Ice Pikachu, is a friend from High School I've never ever been able to beat.

You guys have all shown up as yellow for me, but I haven't seen any noticeable lag or anything. I think we're good.

Was really happy to pull off an Ibuki vortex even though I didn't do much with it.
