I had an imported ME1 game with Shepard at Level 50 Soldier, love interest Liara.

Yesterday I finished ME1 as a Level 50 Vanguard, love interest Ashley.

I imported the newly finished game to ME2, and the file changed. However, when I booted ME2 to run with the character, it still showed Liara running through an exploding Normandy, and Liara's photo in the Captain's Cabin.

So now I have no more ME1 saved games, you import them, they're gone from the ME1 directory.

This programming needs heavy rewriting.
