How many hoops do I have to jump to recruit Morinth?
Do I have to play a Shepard twice to recruit her?
What sort and how much of a morality (blue or red) do I have to recruit her?
With this Shepard I'm playing (which is my first play through with her) at this moment my renegade points is 2/3rd full and my paragon points is just about half. Still I cannot choose my finial left decision before Samara barges in just before Morinth dose her deed with Shepard because my choices at the left is greyed out.

You can recruit Morinth, but you need a 100% full either paragon or renegade bar. This grants you the ability to decide to intervene to kill one or the other. If you choose to have Samara die, you get to recruit Morinth.

You dont need a full bar. I dont know why people keep posting that. It is however is harder if you do the loyalty mission later in the game, rather than go do as soon as possible. Which can end up requiring you to have a full bar in one or the other.

If you do it earlier on as well, you don't need as much points as you would need later on. It'll be easier to unlock the checks for the charm/intimidate options if you carry over points from me1.

Did some forum digging. Here's the official statement on Morinth from Kim Stolz of BioWare

To recruit her you first need to hand in your brain.

Or have the sense of self-preservation worthy of a plant if you're a Renegade.

So its the average in the game up to the point you collect for far instead how many times you pick renegade and/or paragon during most of the game.

IIRC Morinth is actually easier to recruit as a Paragon. And she's harder to get on NG+ because you don't get any bonus points for importing an ME2 character.
