It seems much easier if you're not a tank. My mage got it without difficulty, because I was generally freezing/paralyzing people.

Yes. You die.

You also get an injury for falling asleep. Wynne's healing aura works wonders for that. Saved me three injury kits.

I got tactician pretty early in my first full playthrough. The 250 damage in one shot is the one I'm unsure how to achieve though. At level 23, my dwarf was maxing out aroun 115 damage with starfang using mighty blow.

arrow of slaying plus some debuffs/buffs from your mages, plus your own armor debuff shots.

Or, mana clash.

Uh, no.  I fell asleep there, killed the Shades.  When I finished the game, I was informed that "I'm Kind of a Big Deal" (aka "completed the entire game without the main character ever falling in battle").

The secret achievement that pisses me off to no end is called "Tactician"

"Kill 250 Enemies without being damaged"

That's just crazy

Yeah, I have NO idea how I got this on my first playthrough, with my hero as a Warrior Weapon/Shield tank....

It probably works off your party member kills as well.

if you reload a game, does it recognize that? Or do you have to get thru without dying and reloading?

I somehow got tactician. I think it was because I was using Sten as a tank, and he didn't have many tanking talents yet. So I was doing alot of forcefielding and aoe'ing.

I've got Tactician with my 2 hander, actually the only char I've been playing for 2 1/2 runs now. It is not that hard as it does not require that it is in a row. I got in on my first playthrough... shattering frozen stuff and knocking them down with pommel, stunning them with mighty blow and finishing with a critical or final blow.

... Leilane is doing sometimes near 700 !!! damage .. but not possible for my Warrior

I use her as scout ...

sneaking (hidden, level 4)
+ aim
arrow of slaying
and bow from her dead girlfriend

(And gave her all items I found/bought to increase range criticals % to hit and critical % damage)
think that also counts for the "kill 250 ..." as I have it.

Many times I killed all enemies, without trigger an attack ???

I realize now it meant your main being damaged. it's actually fairly easy if you do mage. At least the way I use mages. No arcane warrior stuff for me, I prefer to stay back and nuke from afar.

Same here. Got tactician without knowing what it was the first time I played as a Rogue. Hell, I actually got it before I was even done in Lothering.

This is something that I'm wondering to. When fighting my way through the Fade during the Broken Circle-quest my Main died and I had to reload. Does this mean that it's over for me and I have to start over? Or does "dying" only mean dying during a battle and "waking up" when the fighting is over?

I got these achievements on normal mode (mostly pre-patch) by reloading.  A lot.  I kind of stink at this game but it's still fun, okay?

So yes, to answer your question, if your main character  falls in battle, you will need to reload to get the achievement.  Save often!
