It's far from a perfect image, but it gets the point across.

EDIT: Plus many of those games have been on consoles (DOom, Duke Nukem) but for the most part point of origin is what counts. UT3, Command and Conquer and SupCOm are PC games.

That's nice and all, but nearly every pc game
has modding, map making e.t.c...
Consoles will always be a primarily closed platform for
multiple reasons. e.g. Paying $15 for 5 maps. Made millions.
Sadly, they are attempting to force this mentality on pc users.

There's also KotOR (Xbox), Far Cry (I think that had console releases), Supreme Commander (that's now on 360 too), Unreal Tournament 3 (pretty sure that's on consoles), Command & Conquer (has had some console presence), Half-Life (console presence) etc

Pretty much every game listed there is inferior to the pc version.
In the case of Far Cry, it's a diffrent game.

Which is basically what I just said.
Also, many people are still
playing 1.6.
Unless you have some specific niche set up, most
people will choose the mouse and keyboard of a typical computer desk, as
it's more appropriate.

Dead space is better on console as is Bioshock and i played HL2 (The orange box) on pc and 360 and i dont see a difference in gameplay. And Alan wake is coming to the 360, and the ps3 has uncharted 2 and God of war. Pc and console are both good, but fighting over what is better is childish.

In what way?
You can list factually based
non preference points as to why the pc versions are better

Hows that horrible netcode on
Team Fortress 2?
Are you enjoyiing the
updates Valve can do on the fly, for free? Are you modding Halflife 2 to
look and play better?
No? Thought not.

And Starcraft 2 and Diablo III are coming to the pc along with Guild Wars 2, The Old Republic e.t.c....
I have no problem with console games, God Of War is good, sadly when they are designed to be crossplatform, with the console as the lead platform, they do get streamlined. Games like God Of War and Uncharted 2 are typical console games, games such as Fallout and Bioshock would have been better if they were pc designed only.

The mouse is actually a much more precise method of control. and it can be made more or less so depending on if you have various DPI settings. The game I always use to prove this is Shadowrun on the 360/PC. The developers had to give an aiming-aid like thing to the 360 players so they could actually compete with those who use the mouse.

*pauses* Okay, fine, I'm ridiculous, and have no insightful intelligent comment to critique games. I just really liked Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 should not be included in that list. From my exprience & what I've heard from others Fallout 3 also was a superior exprience on PC than any consoles as wells being the least buggy. Unlike ME2. At least in ME they gave PC user's a slighlty different UI to interact with Companions as well as supporting keyboard shorcuts to select & draw diff. weapons. I can't seem to be able to do this on ME2 & UI for the companion is actually worst than ME. Only thing that annoyed me about Fallout 3 PC version was that the game crashed when I accessed the desktop area while the game was running. Apparently the engine doesn't support it. And I don't belive Fallout New Vegas is going to be any different. If it is, it should be better.

I'm hoping that the market doesn't change too much, though. I like the idea that consoles are the cheaper and simpler option (i.e. put in the disc and off you go) whereas the PC can be like that but also is more open to those who wish to modify/enhance their gaming experience. Just my thoughts, anyway.

It seems aside from the graphics themself, the overall presentation for Oblivion, Fallout 3 and it seems Vegas, are just plain bad.

Yes, Oblivion and Fallout 3 are playable without mods, but when huge unofficial patches are right at the top of the "recommended/must-have mods" list, you know something is veeeeeryyyyy wrong. I do have faith that Obsidian will release a better game, though.
