ME shouldn't go to ps3 anytime soon, because I don't want bioware wasting time coding for it. No ps3 = less wait. I wouldn't really care if they got the series after ME3 is done, though.

Yup, the romance scenes alone should require at least three disk swaps.  Imagine all the horny console nerds trying to swap that many disks one handed.

I prefer the PS3 to the XBox 360. The only reason I own an XBox 360 at all is because of Mass Effect. Imagine Mass Effect on the PS3, with the flexibility of a Blu-Ray and the higher-resolution texture files that would be possible on the PS3. XBox 360 is typical Microsoft dreck. Unreliable, unsophisticated, and underperforming. I vastly prefer the PS3.

Having owned both, I agree. I like the PS3 much better.

The less extra work for BioWare means the more time they have to make games. And I like games.

The 360 is just a standardized PC anyways.

uncharted n gow were pretty crap. gow is basically the same thing as the first two and uncharted is just graphics with okay gameplay

Anyone that actually says Mass Effect should stick to one particular console is one of those ****ty fanboy bastards. People have to realise that not all people can afford multiple consoles, so whena dev isn't tied to the console maker, its nice when they branch out into multiplatform to give everyone the chance to experience there game.



The only thing I am dead against for Mass Effect. Is if these pick up and play gamers start whispering for a multiplayer in BioWares ear. It is happening with almost every genre of game out there now, and all we end up with is half arsed games.

Well... I'm not against it... it would just take far too long for make the game for PC, Xbox and PS3. Apparently the PS3 is kind of hard to develop for, or, hard to multi-plat. for. IDK. I don't own a PS3 so I really cannot answer your question.

You could reply without being a jerk. I prefer the Xbox 360 because of the game lineup and what is already on it. To say any one console is superior (other than graphically) is retarded and untrue. Most of those games are pretty good. Heavy Rain = Awesome. To me... GOW III = not cool. That's just me. Demon's Souls is hardcore. I've seen it in play but never played. I bet you have never even played half of these games.

Your correct in what you say. The PS3 has tech that devs still don't understand, where as the 360 tech is what devs had been previously using for the last 3 years before its release. It obviously has some new tech that they had to learn, but it was all familiar to them.

This gave the 360 a huge head start, not just because of a rushed release date, but because devs knew how to make games for it. This is the downfallfor the 360 though as it reached its peak almost 2 years ago. Most games from now on will probably be multiple discs to try and compete against high spec games on the PS3.

In the end, I think SONY will once again trample over Microsoft...Well thats what I hope for anyway.

I prefer console gaming as it has a solid base. With PC gaming you never know if the next game you want to play is going to cost you hundreds of pounds to update your hardwarde to play a £25-30 game.



Plus I hate using keyboards and the mouse to control games lol.

Unlike you apparently, I (among others) own some of these games, and have this to say
1Uncharted 1&2 smart gameplay, good script, excellent voice acting, nice atmosphere, stylish, great graphics  (particularly Uncharted 2)
2 Demon's Souls, Good atmosphere, hard as nails but extremely rewarding gameplay, very immersive, wicked multiplayer.
3 Heavy Rain, (You obviously havent played it) great control scheme (with the exception of walking), innovative gameplay, stunning graphics, lots of character, amazing atmosphere.
4 God of War III, Addictive gameplay, brutal sequences (as it should be for this game), brilliant music score, excellent animation, seriously immersive, stunning graphics, exciting gameplay, smart dramatic storyline (nicely in keeping with ancient greek drama)

From your comments its fairly obvious [to me] you're into scifi themed shooters/open ended platformers (InFamous, Killzone 2, Resistance etc). the games you slated arent for you, so move on, leave them to those who appreciate them...

Oh yes lest I forget, Being polite or courteous doesnt cost anything, so at least TRY  TO HAVE SOME GOOD MANNERS

I do not own a PS3, but I would have no issues with ME3 being released for the console other than that it would probably extend the release of the game. I haven't been a fan of Sony since the first Playstation gray box but I don't have any issues with games going multi-platform. Hell, we got FFXIII on the box (I know that it received a lot of hate but I still thought it was a great game).

I would love to see the whole Mass Effect trilogy on the PS3 at some point, nicely remastered and (this one is important) well ported. But like a poster before me said, I'd prefer that to happen after ME3 is released, so they can focus on it properly, and get a great package out.
