If they are against it they are morons.

Not gonna happen, and you can blame the xbox for that. Imagine the uproar if they'll have to swap disks 6 times.

I'm all for swapping discs 12 times if there's that much real content. If each disc had some 6 hours of content it wouldn't be bad or different from playing any other game. Only if the space is used purely to have super detailed textures so each disc is like 1 hour it will be a problem

My issues with ME going to PS3 are with the consistency of series. ME2 reset much of what happened in ME1 and with having new people jumping aboard it's possible ME3 resets everything again. "We make it approachable for newcomers", "Huge amount of the potential customers haven't played ME1 so lets ignore it even more"

personally, it doesn't bother me if PS3 gets ME2 - not a console fanboy in the least

however, thanks to MS not letting the first ME go to PS3, it concerns me on how the decisions I made, from the start, will be handled in ME3, and that is my sole concern on the subject - I would really hate to see the trilogy ruined by the devs, putting less effort in making the save imports matter, to accommodate those late to the series

as long as Bioware, EA, & Sony find a way to overcome this obstacle, I'll continue to not have any problems with it

IMO, MS should think of the financial benefits they can gain, in licensing fees, rather than "white knuckle" a grip on a 3 year old game
(but I'm not a game sales expert, so it's just an opinion)
