So yea this is so awesome bioware. I load my game everything is all good. Go to talk to the guy guarding the dock at lake callenhand and now my mains weapon / belt and morrigans weapon / belt have both disappeared. That is so amazing how did you guys learn to code like that? My last save is 6 RL gaming hours away. You know whats even better? Wasting time redoing all the things you just did the night before that took you forever and pissed you off the first time. I really love this game.
Hey you know whats cool? When your gear randomly disappears.

settle down, its not biowares fault that somehow some of the scripting busted for the guy at callenhad....it happens.
first, like games that are a challenge dont forget to save often (also not biowares fault, yes it is frustrating*)
second, it may not apply to you, but if you had the DLC contect like the belt there is a work around.
*things like this happen to everyone, i had something similar happen to me when a genlock alpha one hit my main character when he was at full health, i had to go through about 1.5 hours of gameplay, and again when the assassin killed me and lost another 2hours at least...point being its not as bad as you think, avoid the guy in the future until they patch for that issue.

Don't get me wrong, but it is partially your fault.
I fully understand that you are angry now. I'd be angry too if that ever happen to me.
But PCs can crash always. So not saving for 6h is like begging for it.
Aside from that: the guy didnt bug for me. So maybe when you are doing the tower just save right before him and then talk to him. Reload if something strange happens.
Or dont equip the items before the conversation.

lol. I can understand the frustration. But you'll learn, for this reason and others, that you need to save your game often and in different saves every once in a while, not just the quick save. Thats the nature of RPG games.
