In a way-I'd prefer Inferno if that place wasn't transparent. Then again-death mask is hideous:PTMA LIVE wrote...
I want helmet toggle like everyone else, but I also want something else as well, aka the option to not see your eyes and face inside the helmet. It's the number one reason why, when going on a mission that require a helmet, I go to my room to equip the Death Mask, and then unequip it when the mission is over. It's also the number one reason why I don't wear the Curberus Armor, since it looks like Shepard's head is trapped inside a box. If I'm going to wear a helmet, I'm wearing it for Boba Fett/Darth Vaber reasons, and thus want the helmet to be "the face". That can't happen if I see Shepard's eyes clear as day looking around, or see his face trapped inside the helmet. It just looks weird. Anyone agree? Or do you like seeing Shepard's eyes and face?
I see where you're coming from and I agree to some extent-but I actually prefer ceberus armor trans:whistle:

Unless the face is ugly Shepard, I prefer going without a helmet or with that headshot damage visor whose name I am forgetting. Losing a paltry combat bonus does not concern me in comparison to losing the cinematic feel.

I don't think the Death Mask is great, but I think it's better then the default helmet with Shepard's eyes staring out. I also prefer it over the Recon Hood, since that just looks more like a ski mask then a helmet. I do think it's hideous (and go figure that's the one that has the negotiation bonus. Yeah, that's the helmet I think of when I want to make peace, and earn discounts...), but I still think it the better of them all "look wise", if you're not wearing one piece armor.
As for the Cerberus Armor, I want to use it because of the Enhancements (don't have any of the special DLC armors), but that "head in a box" thing just keeps turning me off.

I agree 100%, it's the reason I never use my Inferno and Cerberus armor, it just looks so dumb and out of place.
Does anyone actually use the bonus armors? I have Inferno, Cerberus, Blood Dragon and Collector armor, yet I very rarely put them on. I prefer modified N7 partly due the face issue, partly because none of them have that impressive bonuses (thought + Heavy Weapon Ammo in Cerberus could be handy, if there is more than two heavy weapons that are useful.)

I would use them, but as a Soldier, the only bonus I really like is Weapon Damage, which none of the DLC armors have. I plan on doing an Assault Sentinel sometime, so I may end up using the Blood Dragon armor, but that's about it.
As for the 'No Helm' issue, I don't really mind not having a toggle. I use the Recon Hood with a black color scheme, and it gives Shepard a SpecOps look that I like. Also, I don't like putting on a particular helm, then having it switched out automatically when there's no atmosphere. A full-face helm may hide Shepard's face, but at least I know it's going to be there no matter what mission I'm on.

Seriously, though. I rarely put armour suits on, due to the helmet. I'm happy with the N7 helmet on stages that are in vacuum, though.

The Blood Dragon armor will give a bonus to ammo powers so you can get a bit extra weapon damage from it.swk3000 wrote...

I use Blood Dragon armor on my Assault Sentinel but all the other classes use the N7 armor & i really want a helmet toggle:(.

Nah, Tali's cool. I don't have a problem with that.
Yeah, I never use the armour suits, but apart of me thinks I should when playing a new character that doesn't have all the armor pieces. They do give you a better beginning advantage (well, the Cerberus one does, since that's all I have). But it's the helmet that turns me off one way or another.

I too know what he is getting at, as the helmut in this game go from one extreme to another. Personally I want a type of ski-mask type thing that just covers the lower half of Shepards face. This way it looks cool as custard, but you can still see facial animations during cutscene speeches.

This is true; however, I really do prefer the look of my N7 set:
Recon Hood
N7 Shoulder Guards
Stabilization Gauntlets
Shield Harness
N7 Greaves
Since I use a Black-Grey Trim-No Pattern-White Stripe setup, it really does make Shepard look like a SpecOps Commando. As cool as the Blood Dragon Armor looks, it just doesn't have that same look.

Answer: Blood Dragon Armor
I spent a good hour getting my Shep looking the way I want then to cover it in Blood Dragon because it was the best for adepts before you can get all the N7 upgrades. That's annoying. Out of combat situations should never use the helmet. The cinenmatic cuts to Shep saying something profound and I am treated to the view of a an over designed novelty answering machine blinking. What happened to the grizzled and scared face I made?
Bleh.

If you want to see your character's face then you shouldn't be wearing the armor.

Blood Dragon Armor is the best Adept armor imo. Even if you can't see your face, it pwns in combat and looks pretty cool if you ask me.AlkoTanko wrote...
