Well good for you. Again it's down to being classy. And as long as you *in Tim Gunn voice* make it work why not? A subtly edgy asymmetrical haircut, pointy but comfortable shoes, a metalic tie with matching wristband and cufflings, slightly exagerated rings - They can spell your rock'n'roll-ness just as well as your intelligence at the same time. You can tone it down abit, but you shouldn't give up on "your" look.

That, and MORE IMPORTANTLY with your ivy-league degree in business, and sound knowledge of the investment market. And you just might get the job anyway.

Most guys know that this is actually the opposite of reality.  The 'key to the mint', so to speak, is to treat women like crap.  Women with low self-esteem are more likely to jump into bed quickly. 

As myself and most other 'nice guys' know, the amount of respect you treat a woman with is inversely porportional to the number of women you receive.  Don't ask me why this is, it's something messed up inside most of your heads, and not ours.  Many guys are just willing to exploit it.  In reality, the thread title should really be...

"Disrespect women and you'll get more sex"

...as most guys learn by the end of High School.

Truth, its a trade Instant Satisfaction vs Lasting Soulmate. I am not sure why sex is always placed above everything else because anything except sex with a soulmate is no more satisfying then victory in a bar room brawl. From a mans point of view, beating someone down releases the exact same "I feel good" endophines that are released when having sex. One night stands also release some adreneline as well, expecially if you do not even know the person your going home with. Both of those feelings can also be achieved by skydiving. So the question is, do you do what you want or what you know is right?

Hmmmm funny we are going into dating advice...but listen up.  If a woman is not thinking of you as a potential sexual partner early on she probably never will.  You need to sniff out if she is interested and if she is not you need to bail (as anything but a friend, not necessarily physically) before you find yourself becoming emotionally involved.  Whether or not you are a nice guy or a jerk you need to  move on fast and find one who does think of you that way.

If she thinks of you as a friend you can spend the rest of your life trying to get her to think otherwise and it ain't going anywhere.  That is not to say it is impossible, because it has been done, but it is unlikely enough to not be worth your time and emotional investment.

Are people really complaining that FemShep is too "masculine", and that her armor is too bulky and, apparently, not sexy enough? And then simultaneously complaining about Miranda, and the fact that strip clubs have strippers in them? Jesus, give me a break.

FemShep is a VERY strong and admirable female lead, and there are numerous other strong female characters in the game. Aria, Tali, Ashley, Samara, the no-nonsense Detective Anaya -- even Liara has turned into a very powerful and capable figure who is not terribly sexualized and yet certainly not without her feminine charms. Although I guess maybe Samara doesn't count because she shows cleavage, nevermind the fact that she has the wisdom of a milennia and displays physical and mental fortitude in spades *eyeroll*.

There is a very broad range of females that this game portrays, and frankly I think FemShep is fantastic. From a male perspective I don't find her manly, but she is tough and capable in a very realistic way. I absolutely believe that that woman can save the galaxy. If FemShep were made all feminized with sexy armor and a hip-swaying walk, we'd just get an equal number of posts complaining that Bioware was sexualizing FemShep so that people wouldn't take her seriously instead of allowing her to be a proper soldier.

Women don't like to be mistreated, nice guys can get plenty of action. However, what you DO need to be is confident, assertive, and interesting. Women don't like a-holes, but if you're boring and deferential there will be no spark, no force of personality to attract them. Sadly, confidence and a-hole-ness often go hand-in-hand, and so there you have where the generalization comes from. The women who get tired of those guys will likely find the "safe" option later in life; hence where the other half of the generalization comes from.

It is perfectly possible to be both, though. Just sac up, find a girl, talk to her and be natural, charm the socks off her, and watch her be pleasantly surprised that you aren't a d**k.

After some girl has slept with every bad boy in town she might go to a "nice guy" when she's about to settle down or w/e. I don't get why anyone would concede for being someones 45th choice after he/she has exhausted all other options. Seriously, think about it: "Oh well, now I've had my fun its time to settle down. Oh look theres that nice guy I used to totally ignore theres no way he'd turn me down."

I agree with this guy, except the narcissist I am not one, but why should you settle for being the safe guy, if a girl decided to pick to sleep around with ****s then she should live with it, it was her choice, I wouldnt be that guy because I would always feel like I was second best, and I dont like being second to some people e.g the egomaniacal kid, who thinks he is the second coming of Jesus but hes just an **** who thinks he is better than everyone else. One of my main dislikes is people who are full of themselves and just annoying.
So yeah if someone decides to make you the safe guy, ignore them you can do much better, chances are if you are the safe guy your relationship will crumble eventually as old habbits die hard. Not being sexist here because the roles can easily be reversed.
