So, here is my deal:

I started and played a char on my brothers copy after turning off all upload/online features to check out the game on his dime.  I ended up playing for rather a while as I like the game.   I want to continue that char when my the copy I ordered arrives later this week.  I am aware of the location of the files and so forth.  My Question is,  Will I have any issue continuing that char and save file on my copy under my serial number.  I of course desire the use of all the online features and my achivements, unlocked content, etc.  

Further more,  I'd like to continue playing my brothers copy until mine arrives, yet I have all ready committed much time and do not want to potentially waste any more if I'll not be able to properly continue my char/save.

Your save's and characters will transfer over fine. ( just nab the folder with your character name and transfer it to your PC ) . Your achievements will 'possibly' transfer over ONLY if you've been playing while logged into your own EA/Bioware account while playing. If you've been playing logged into his account (or not logged in at all) you'll not be able to transfer your achievements.

bummer, So the achivements are lost cause they where not gained WHILE logged in with my account on the site during game play ?



Was hoping they where stored in the save file or some thing sim.

Does any one know if those achivements gained are char specific or can I gain them on future plays with new characters ?

They are cumulative I believe. So anything you miss you should be able to get back with a new character ( thats what I plan to do ) . I only assume this as you can't get them all with one character. ( ie Origins Achievements, plus some say specifically can be through multiple playthroughs)
