I think the topic title is appropriate.
While fox went up in arms about ME1 they backed off when the realized is was well done and tasteful. If there was nudity in ME2 they and many others would have a justifiable argument. Heavy rain got away with it because it felt like a 'real', mature, adult game. In ME2 it would be tastless and is never going to happen.
