Yep, I agree. Even bombarding them with email wouldnt do much if they arnt willing to part with any information, or dont have any to give. But, sense I did email them already, if I hear anything of importance I will share it =). In the mean time, I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed!

Oh God, I don't know why that made me laugh as hard as I did. It's too true, though.

Although regardless, I like Alistair because he's well-written. Even if I only had him as a buddy in Origins, I still would want to see him in some DLC. All the characters are well-written. Give them back! I miss my banter.


And for moar epic internets, bring in the Awakenings crew as well. What an awesome cluster**** that would be, yes?

I'd love to see companions return in Awakenings. It's probably just going to be one simple quest you do with them though, like Wynne, which is too bad really because I'd love to do more with Leliana and Zevran

I see Zevran asking Justice all manner of inappropriate questions once he learns that Justice can tap into Kristoff's memories, or Alistair and Anders bantering about the PC until Anders makes an inappropriate comment and Alistair is all WAT SCUSE YOU >:| MINE. Or if Zevran/Leliana was the LI, then making quiet threats, rogue style. Or Zevran hitting on Nathaniel hardcore.





Oh, the lulz this would produce. Maybe I should just learn to mod and write it all myself. I have ~ideas~.

BTW, Rock Cyborg is the name of my new fictional band.

That would be interesting, at least in my play through Shale was on her way to see if it could happen, with Wynn in fact. Just look for the female dwarf playing kick the hen...

And lord, that would be cruel to Shale. Dwarf on the top, rock on the bottom. It would be like... Transformers on acid or something.

Honestly, in my mind, I don't see Shale ever being able to return to Dwarva form. Her body is irrevocably changed. Unless they got her a new form, I'm not sure how it would work. :/

Your probably right, the Codex I found, kind of explained the process...seemed pretty harsh and well, one would definatly think irreversible. Unless they write a 'magical' backing to it.

As far as I understand it, Shale wasn't transformed into a golem. Her soul was transplanted into the golem. To let her regain her old body would be virtually impossible, unless someone could magically recreate it from her bones or something.



The alternative would be to transplant her soul back into a fresh dwarf body, but that seems to involve the moral dilemma of what happens to the soul currently inhabiting said body, unless they can perhaps use a recently dead body.

Interesting, interesting. I missed that part. Now I have to go back and read that whole story line closer!

I played through as a mage who freed the mages circle and Wynn was not there with the quest does this mean my game was bugged or they put forth some over flow from origins.

Hrm, are you referring when your doing Shales quest line? Shale is the only option you have to bring on that one. As for Wynn, it is suggested in 'some' endings that she will be joining Shale to go to someplace,..I cant remeber the location, to see if the process could be reversed. Then Wynn makes an apperence in Awakenings.

Hope that was what you were referring too...if not. I appologize..

Interesting . . . as a Leliana fan, I'd love to see her come back. But there are a lot of players who would not care for a DLC that only contained Leliana. From a financially viable point of view, Bioware would be prudent to cover all the bases - bring back 3 of the major LI's (namely Leliana, Zevran and Alistair) and leave Morrigan for DA2.



Hey, if you knew that the next DLC contained those 3 companions, wouldn't you reserve your copy now? I know it is possible for some playthroughs to have none of those companions still alive - how sad that would be - but those would be in the extreme minority. For all the fanboys and fangirls, this would be honey that was missing from Awakenings that would draw in the hordes!
