On a recent run, I have been trying to make a "retard" Shephard, who would completely fail the final mission.

I was wondering if someone could let me know if it's possible to make all of your party members (including Zaeed and Kasumi) as unloyal as possible.

If there are any optional characters whom I can't make unloyal, then I'll just skip them entirely.

Check this thread out, it's a guide of sorts to the worst possible playthrough.

Thank you, this should help...

Though I'm still trying to figure out how to make Kasumi unloyal...

Once a crew member is loyal, you can't undo it(unless you modify your savegame). The obvious exceptions being Tali/Legion and Miranda/Jack.

I know, I'm just wondering if there is a way to mess up her loyalty mission, like you can with Thane, or Tali.

I doubt it since it's DLC. People would complain "I paid for this and didn't even gain her loyalty!!!1"

Actually your wrong there because you can mess up Zaeed's quest by taking the Paragon route (saving the people at the refinery) and not using a paragon/renegade line at the end. Also to note if you have more than 1 other squadmate, if you do Zaeed's loyalty mission post-suicide run you can actually leave him for dead on it.

Kasumi's quest you can't mess up.

There are numerous ways she can be killed though even if loyal.

If you don't upgrade the shields on the ship, Kasumi is the first in line to get killed (as long as you don't take her to fight the oculus)

Vents, whilst she is a good vent person, if you pick a poor fire team leader, just like Legion and Tali (and any poor vent choice) she'll get a missile to the head.

Kasumi is in the 'Super Squishy' pack with Mordin, Tali and Jack. So if the others aren't in the door defence and you've got a fairly weak door defence, Kasumi can end up dead.

Below is a list of characters you can have unloyal even after doing their loyalty mission.

Miranda/Jack - Side with one of them in the catfight rather than using Intimidate/Charm to settle the fight (naturally you can only have one or the other)
Tali - Hand the evidence in during her trial or side with Legion in the standoff
Legion - Side with Tali during the standoff (so in effect you can make both unloyal by handing the evidence in on Tali's mission then siding with Tali during the standoff with Legion)
Samara - When speaking to Morinth during Samara's mission, mention Justicar and Family and Morinth will leave without you and you'll not gain Samara's loyalty despite completing the mission
Thane - When in the 800 blocks, don't update Thane on Talid's location and Kolyat will kill Talid and you won't be able to stop it, mission will get completed but without Thane's loyalty
Zaeed - As previously mentioned, take Paragon route on his mission and don't intimidate/charm him at the end.

True, I was just correcting your typo in forgetting to account for it being Paid DLC rather than just DLC ;)

Typo? It was implied in the sentence "I paid for this..." that I was referring to paid DLC.

Don't forget that you can kill Grunt right after you let him out of the tank, by NOT using the persuade or interrupt options.

Also, why not sell Legion to Cerberus? You can get rid of him before you even start.

No, you can't. Have you tried it? You can shoot him, but since he's a krogan, he will just be a bit annoyed at you shooting at him, and then respect your attitude enough to follow you.

I thought that (bouncing bullets off him) was the "intimidate" option.  I may definitely be wrong, cuz I haven't done much on my "epic fail" Shep (seems like a good idea, but its a little depressing to actually play-through).  I'll trust you on this one until I can confirm.

Nope, I've shot Grunt in the face and got Paragon points for it. Just skip the interrupt and intimidate options, he's fine.

OK...I stand corrected. Grunt is clearly unkillable. However, you can still leave him in this watery coffin forever.
