hey i need help why is it that i just installed the game and i cant play it i get a message that said "failed to authenticate disk please insert correct disk ? well i have 2 of them in this pack one that was in the box and othe rin inthe box but in a envolope type pakeage ? whats going on that i am not doing?

The disk check is picky about working with some optical drives.  I couldn't use my Plextors for the install, although they do work for the disk check (at least, up to now).  If there are other PCs at your place, see about swapping DVD drives.  Be sure you aren't running any virtual drives, or any of several disk duplication programs at the same time.

ok and which disk should i reinstall use disk one or two? whats the differences?

and if i have a ea account already from bf2bc i used the same account but ? i just dont get it why a drive wouldnt read a game ,i know if someone burned it or some one dl it i could understand but a new bought game? i dont get it`?

NEEDS HELP? i have tryed just about everything i can think of to get this game to work i keep getting the dam msg failed to authenticate disk ,please put the disk in  so what is going on i have looked into many different palces and tryed what they say but still messed up how to get this to work properly please any advice would be very much ty for

The first disk is the game, the second disk contains only different languages.



If your game keeps bugging about the CD, I should try installing the game with the EA download manager, that way you can play the game without using the CD.

i could try that but would i have to pay again to do that ?

ok from what i see you have to buy it again to use the ea dlm so i wouldnt buy it 2 times in one day i think one time is enough so if you can assit me what to do to install this and be able to play i would be very thankfull

Download the EA download manager, once you have done that login with your ea account. After that the download manager will ask to fill in a serial number, fill in the number that you received with the game. The manager will link the serial number to the game, if everything goes right you should be able to download the game.

You don't need to buy the game again, the only thing you need is the serial number. I know it works I have the game installed on my pc by using the download manager. Only thing that I had trouble with was finding a place to download the download manager.

ok ty now i have gotten it to work the issues at hand now is that in the city delium i have really odd graphic issues only there nowhere else? what is the issue with that ? i reall wish i could take a pic and post here to show

Go to options in the menu and deselect 'Play in Full Screen Mode' (or something). When you don't play in full screen you are able to make screen shots with your print screen button. The screenshots will be saved in you Bioware folder under Screenshots -> User.
