Someone said in another post that height doesn't matter when you're laying down.

I've done a few playthroughs as a dwarf noble, and had relationships with both Leliana and Morrigan. I guess you just have to use your imagination, or just think that despite their compact size, dwarves make up for it in bed, like a berserker.

Maybe that's why I haven't played a Dwarf yet. The romance options are not as to my liking. Dwarf on Dwarf would be viable but alas, there is no such option available.

Yeah there's a few immersion breakers with playing a dwarf but I still like them best. As far as romance options in many ways I found that the overall feel of the dwarves lends itself to Morrigan. I personally prefer Leliana but ultra-pragmatism makes more sense for them then anyone else considering their situation.

Their height is one thing that I like most about them, especially a dwarven warrior tanking a dragon or other target that should be able to swallow them whole. It may not be realistic, but it reminds me that I'm playing a videogame set in a fantasy world, where realism need not apply. Dwarves don't back down from anyone, no matter how much bigger they are.

It also doesn't hurt that I've been a fan of dwarves after watching the Lord of the Rings movies.

Zevran. Zevran is a 'one size fits all' elf.

Sigrun. Also in my dwarf runs, I'm to busy having a kick ass battle axe and beard to worry about women.

It is fantasy yes but in most rpg's dwarfs have always had abonus againt bigger enemies, if anything they are the best class for tanking imo.

Well, my female dwarves got off to a promising start with Gorim in the origin chapter. Male dwarves though - its all about glory in battle, no time to waste on romance. The height difference just kills it for me though.

My female Dwarf hasn't yet romanced anyone.... I think Leliana would no way be attracted to this daring dwarven lass and Zev would be a shattered ragdoll after a single go. Maybe Al would survive but the emotional scarring would be devastating....this Dwarven darling wants STEN! Gimme gimme Sten! Now AND later.

What's wrong with Oghren and "You must be a baker, because those are some nice buns you have" (may be a bit off)

No one. And I'd be disturbed by any of the women actually taking an interest in me.

Well, uhm, being short myself I find height is not often as much of a personal issue as it is a logistical one. I'm 5' 2" and once dated a guy 6' 4" tall. Slow dancing was interesting as my face ended up being plastered right in the middle of the guys chest. Kissing was done mostly sitting down. The fact of the matter is, we worked around the physical impositions because we enjoyed each others company. So, if you don't mind the cultural differences, size doesn't really matter. Just sayin...

My male dwarf didn't romance anyone. None of the romance options suited him as a character.

My female dwarf fell madly in love with Alistair as soon as she met him.

My dual weilding rouge was a female dwarf noble, and for her I romanced Alister. However he dumped me after the landsmeet.

You're a dwarfist!

If recollection serves correct as a dwarf female brand I romanced Alistair. He still thought I was pretty, even though I felt like he was looking down on me because of my status...

My male dwarf decided to romance Zevran.

I mean, why not? Gotta try all my options.
