Shepard is what, 29-30 years old in the games?  I'm not positive on the exact age, but he's not in his early 20's.

Shepard is 31 in Mass Effect 2 and I don't care about the main character's age.  I just think the female romance option needs to be aesthetically presentable.
Miranda is 35 but she is modeled after an actress in her 20's.  This makes sense since she is genetically modified to be hot.
The human lifespan has increased by several decades by the  Mass Effect timeline so they could still have a character modeled after Miley Cyrus' likeness that is in her 30's.
Women in their 30's are too wrinkly and they just look worn out.  They're not fresh and wholesome looking like women in their early 20's and late teens.

The abysmal Aeon Flux movie(which is what the Charlize Theron picture is from) came out about 5 years ago.

Charlize Theron is a lot older now and not nearly as attractive as she used to be.

Miley Cyrus is not over-exposed from my point of view since I don't watch/isten to the media she's in.  Scarlett Johansson on the other hand is everywhere and she's been everywhere for a while.  She's hot but I'm getting sick of her.

I'm 26 and turn 27 in may.  I'm not a fan of Miley Cyrus but I do think she's hot.  Since she's turning 18 soon I would like to see her likeness in Mass Effect 3.
