I can't seem to install the toolset.
when it is installing microsoft sql server i get this message
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup------------------------------

You have symptom 2. To solve you need to (via add/remove programs), remove ALL of the SQL 2005 components, THEN do a re-install.
Edit: After removing the components via add/remove programs, you may also need to manually delete any remaining files relating to SQL 2005, I don't quite recall.
If you are using steam, you will then have symptom 1 appear - when it does, don't touch the installer at all, let it sit at the error message, and do exactly as the support page instructs for symptom 1. If you've done everything right, once you solve for symptom 1 and have it retry, it should install with no error messages. If you get symptom 2 immediately afterwards, it means you did not fully/properly remove the SQL files from a previous botched install.

Try disabling your firewall during install.
