I like Tali a lot but I wouldn't mind if I didn't see her face. I wouldn't mind a shot [from behind] where we could see things like hair & ears to just get some sort of impression .... [Perhaps on their homeworld after a long process of treatments]

I don't really care about a specific face, but hiding what Quarians look like is silly. We've seen dead ones, just crack their suit. Surely they have theri version of google image search. Our own ship doctor likely has a clean chamber in which she examines and patches up injured Quarians. We have had several people on our crew who were alive way back before all Quarians were exiled and in space suits. There is no reason we shouldn't know what their basic physical characteristics are, even if Ms. Tali's looks forever remain a mystery.

Bioware will never show us their faces because its just more easier not to, and because they have no idea what the hell to do.



how are they supposed to make a face that will please over 9000 X 10^1000 nerds. What if they screw up and make something that many people will not like? Nooooooo that would be terrible

Too bad they won't just let us take the helmet off one of those dead quarians that was lying around (i.e. Haestrom). We could see the face but not hurt the wearer 'cause he's already dead.

I'm always for not showing Tali's face. Frankly I'm betting no matter what is revealed it will just disappoint considering the amount of hype and fan adoration for the character.



Frankly I do like all the imagination and creativity people have put into artwork on their perception of what Tali should look like. Bioware should leave it a mystery since it allows for a lot of creative inspiration among the fanbase.

Mass Effect lore is not a property of Bioware. It merely has just the rights to publish a game based on their world. Simply put Bioware has no right to manipulate, to add or alter any of the mass effect lore.

Imagine if the Darth Vader's face was firstly shown in e.g KOTOR. Bioware couldn't do that because he didnt own the Star Wars lore.

As regards my part, the LI scene with Shephard removing tali's mask is the closest thing we are getting.

Well let's think about it, who wants to see Tali's face? Obviiously the people who think she's an awesome character, as well as the people who chose Tali as their romantic partner. The rest of the fans probably don't really care if Tali's face is revealed or not so let's focus on the ones who do.

Those who chose her as a romantic partner are probably hoping that there is some sort of unmasking in 3 since save files and story will continue just as they did from 1 to 2. Maybe Tali ends up finding a way to strengthen her immune system to finally being able to live outside of a mask?

As for the general fans of Tali how do you think they invision her? She has a pretty voice so I can't really see people thinking of her as a monster-ish looking creature. What we can see are the locations of her eyes and a general shadowy face figure which tells us she's at least got a human shaped face much like the Asari (or what we think we see in the Asari...). 

I think if BioWare reveals her face a great percentage of fans will be satisfied. You can't please everybody...

I think they'd make the most amount of people happy by never showing her face. Tali fandom would likely drop from previous levels if her face didn't satisfy everyone. You won't lose any Tali fans by "not" showing her face.

BW won't show tali face because they have not a slightest idea how Quarians should look.

I remember some hints from the BW staff before ME 2 introduction (so loooong time ago) that we will see tali face in ME 2 but what was at the end we all saw in ME 2 (actually we saw notning at all...)

Furthermore from talks with Tali in ME 1 i tougth that on board Flotilla ships Quarians actually don't need enviro suits that's why when i reach flotilla during Tali's LM i was O_O WTF when i saw Quarians in suits and from that point i realized that BW really have no idea how Quarians should look.

And to other OP's points.

No, like others here says Bioware IS Mass Effect Developer and own all rights for ME lore (including books and comics) when Electronic Arts (aka rEApers) IS game Publisher.
