[Mordern]

Just wondering what each party member's island in the Fade is like. I've only done four different ones so far.

Alistair: Reunited with his sister, Goldanna, living with them as a happy family with no blight and thus no further obligations to fight.

Wynne: Surrounded by dead apprentice mages whom she failed to save, and whom she feels intensely guilty for.

Lelianna: Forced to kneel and prey by a demon posing as her Revered Mother, in order to atone for her past.

Morrigan: Arguing with a demon who has taken the appearance of her mother. I found this one humerous as Morrigan was obviously aware that her mother was just a demon in disguise and seemed more interested in critiquing the performance than fighting to get free.

What do the other party members do?

I'm most interested in what Dogs nightmare is. = p I generally take him along, but I grabbed wynne instead in the mage tower.

One of my playthroughs brought Dog along; just hit the Fade. I'll let you know what it is!

I want to know what Sten, Oghren, Dog and Zevran's nightmares are.

Oghren's would probably be about Branka, Zevran's would probably have something to do about the Antivan Crows. Sten's would probably be about the family he murdered.

Sten is sitting around a campfire with a couple of his fellow soldiers (I assume the ones he came to Ferelden with and who died against the darkspawn), and you have to convince him to come with you so that they won't have died in vain. It's also the first (only?) time you hear him called "The Sten", as a reference to it as his title rather than given name.

Dog's nightmare involves him sleeping, waking him up, and then him running off.

The dog's nightmare seems to have suffered from a lack of time. When I went to his nightmare, he was sleeping. After checking to see that there was nothing there, I simply dragged him away from his sleeping spot, which woke him up. As stated, he just runs off.



Personally, I'd have thought something about his previous owner, but maybe a lack of time, or agreement on what he looked like, or something...

Just looked up Zevran's on youtube....You find him strapped to a torture device. He's with two Antivan Crows, and it is apparently one of their initiation tests. Zev's determined to stick with it and become a Crow despite being in massive amounts of pain.

ETA: Maybe Dog is simply sleeping because the demons of the Fade cannot tap into his doggy mind?

That indeed seems very stupid for a supposedly intelligent dog.

Does Shale have a dream? I took Dog along this time and it was pretty disappointing. The only other member I think that might have an amusing one would be Shale.

Shale is a statue once again in his nightmare.You can simply talk to him to get him back again.

For all the intellegence that Dog has, it is still not on the level of a human, so its dream being about itself sleeping makes sense.

Well something else would have been more interesting. Like suggested, about his previous owner or something.
Heck, it could be that he thinks he's still sick. Or sees multiple of you and does not know which to trust. Sleeping just seems so dull. At least make him dream about something! My dogs dream often enough!

I like the explanation that the demon couldn't really screw with Dog's mind because he doesn't understand a dog's mind.

Dog belongs to the Cousland family. If you pick Human Noble he accompanies you from the start.

Yeah, I was hoping for more with dog dream myself, maybe dog chasing around bunnies (nugs?) or something.



I found Morrigan's nightmare to be the best, it confirmed my suspicions that she is one cool headed b****. Everyone else just so weakly accepted the dream, but she'd have none of that. There's something hot about that, more so than those skimpy robes she wears...

I think the dog couldn't have a dream because that would open questions about if animals entered the Fade. As it seems that animals don't enter the Fade I guess the writers figured that animals don't dream then.

Sten is also aware that he is in a dream. He mentions something along the lines of it being a pleasant lie.

Oghren is in an imaginary bar, where all the dwarven patrons criticize and mock him, while he is for some reason given in to their mockery.

stens nightmare is about him standing gaurd with to other qunari and they dont let him get away and so you have to kill them both to leave with sten

Dog's "nightmare" is a big letdown, like many things about his interaction or rather, the lack thereof. Definitely not the proper party member he was said to be. He sleeps, you poke him awake, done. A nightmare in which the player character is dead or dying and he refuses to leave his master's side, and you have to convince him you're real and the dead/dying you is fake -- that could've been good.

I chose to see dog's nightmare as dog saw through whatever the demon put him through and just chose to nap while waiting for you.
