Previously I played my main char as a mage and I liked it alot but I screwed up the entire build with no specialization skills and all the other skills in different areas on the skill chart. I want to start off a new char as an elf warrior but don't know what classes is best suited for me. I would appreciate experience/feedback that are helpful.

Well, I don't know too much so far, but I reckon that in the game, it would be advisable to raise Cunning to 16 so that later you are able to get Coercion up. After that, each time you level up, put two points in STR and one in Willpower. And that's if you want to DPS.
If you want to tank, then you do the same thing with Cunning, and then focus on Constitution and Willpower. I'm not sure though, as I reckon you'll still need to raise STR to a reasonable level.
Good luck, hope I helped.

All Warriors need strength, iShreav. Damage dealers will want to pump it excessively, of course, but even some of the sword-and-board talents have strength requirements. Beyond that, even tanks need to cause damage to hold threat and Warriors are pretty much defined by the desire and ability to use the heaviest gear in the game.

Personally im a Dual Wield warrior and it is ****ing amazing. I bascially pump 2 str 1 dex until my dex is 34. Then i pump str and will power. Get talents like Dual wield sweep, Flurry, momentum and whirlwind. Got berseker and Champion specs. Prett much 1 shot **** right now.

If you're going to go Warrior I would advise playing a Tank. It makes the game much easier in terms of survivability. If you do go this route get your STR up fast, so you can wear heavier armor, if you are like me and have the option for the Blood Dragon armor get STR to 38 as soon as possible. After that work on CON / DEX. That way you can buy all the defensive abilities that require DEX. And with your STR up already, you'll have the ones that use STR. Some Will would be nice as well. More energy = more threat.
After that go for the Champion Specialization, best for tanking, and at level 14 I suggest Reaver - for AoE hits to hold threat against a large group - or Templar to get handle those pesky casters.
I suggest tank because most of the Characters you get in the party are DPS and you won't have to worry about them much. For Melee DPS I suggest Shale (The Golem) - if you have that content - if not the Dwarf, or the Male Rogue Elf guy. Then Moriggan for Ranged / Magic DPS. She has a high survivability and can take care of herself. Then throw in Wynne, for a healer, if you don't do the Herb thing for Health Potions, or the Female Rogue for more Ranged DPS - yes keep her a Bow spec, pointless trying to make her a Melee character when the Assassin guy is already spec for that and she is spec'd for using the bow.
