No rune slots on Dragonbone weapons

I've been trying to create a few new weapons in the toolset, so far it works out great, that is, I can easily create the weapons and have them imported into my game, there is just a little problem, I cannot seem to figure out how to get rune slots attached to the weapons..
Now I've read in weriKK's blog, that you just need to set the material type to dragonbone and it should have 3 rune slots, but alas that doesn't really seem to work..
Is there anything else that need to be specficied in the toolset when creating the weapon or ?
Thanks

ITEM_RUNE_ENABLED
What weapon quality is it in-game?
EDIT- Game seems to level items according to player level and therefore lower lvl weapons give little or no runes

Ah, that may be it then. Only level 15 atm. Then again, I've already found plenty of slotted items...

My character was only level 8 and the dragonbone dagger gave me 3 slots.
Did you remember to export your weapon.uti file again, after changing the variable ?

I'm trying to do this on an armor piece though, perhaps there's a difference in item types that's causing the issue. Going to test a weapon to see if that works for me.
**EDIT: And weapon works fine. Slotted just as expected. Wonder why armor is behaving differently. Or are slots just not allowed on armor? Guessing they were, considering the plethora of spell resist/physical defense runes I seem to find.
