I wanted to start a discussion on what people think is the overall best
class (on insanity). Now what do I mean by best class? Well its a
mixture of killing power, survivability, and versatility.
NOTE: Assume the class is level 30 with maxed out upgrades and is on insanity difficulty.

So
for the best overall class is the Solider with Revenant and Geth Sheild
Boost. With Heightened AR and revenant the soliders killing power is
inredible; beating that of a infiltrators. While the widow is a beast
of a sniper, you will get much more out of the revenant in the long
run. Heightened AR and firing in bursts (as well as the AR accuarcy
upgrade) help offset the one weakness of the revenant. Also, you will
have the viper. The viper is a great sniper rifle, and when coupled
with the 140% damage increase for 5 seconds of Heightened AR, it does
work. And if thats not enough firepower, you also get the eviscerator
shotgun; which is arguebly the best shotgun in the game which also does
a very nice job with Heightened AR. The Solider class also gets access
to ammo types for both synthetics and organics; as well as concussive
shot for barriers. This allows the solider to be effect against any
enemy type and  have the highest killing power of any class. The
solider is more then equipped to handle any situation. Geth Sheild
Boost as a bonus power ups the soliders survivability and throws in a
great life saver (as if 5 seconds 70% time dilation isn't already
invincibility). The solider not only lacks in no areas, but is more
then proficient in all of them.

Thoughts?

there are other posts about this but ill humor you:

Soldier:
- If you are taking Rev then you need to take Hardened AR to get the most DMG.
- If you like Viper sniper then Get Hardened AR to get the most DMG.

Soldiers dont really need a Bonus power. Using Geth shield boost actually lowers your usefulness as it is cooldown used instead of AR. I would actually just pick one that is cool My pick was Flash bang.

^ I know, I hate Trools.

I think the most versatile, survivable and damaging class is probably Sentinel

Sentinel gets my vote. An amazing balance between defense stripping, CC, durability, versatile, and with all of those brought together, killing comes easy. Even without an ammo bonuses, this class still has no dependencies.
