Depends on the character. I had one CE who I RPed as gay, so obviously he wasn't too enthused about his impending nuptials. Another CE wanted to join the Dalish outside Denerim's walls, so she wasn't interested in marriage either. I RPed another doting son who respected the tradition. But none of the CEs knew their partners ahead of time, so none really have any affection for their spouses-to-be. It's hard to develop feelings for someone you've just met.
For you maybe. Myself and my GF fell in love the moment we met a year ago now.

It's when you return to the alienage later on, after calling for the Landsmeet and rescuing Anora. You trigger the quest by talking to the templar guy, Ser Otto.Cypher0020 wrote...
wait.....something happens to the orphanage? Uhh... I don't remember any orphanage in the alienage...?
They kill a lot of kids. And others get sent off to Tevinter as slaves. And then there's Amethyne...In my newest run... I told those kids about the made up story of the great elf warrior....

Makes me feel good slaughtering every Denerim soldier I can find.
The one's in Howe's estate sure.. but Kaylee gets intentionally caught pickpocketing and committing crimes so she gets jumped by those 20+ guards.. just so she can kill them.

Hard, not impossible. Surely that doesn't happen every time? If Nelaros just wasn't love at first sight then he wasn't love at first sight and the fact he's cute shouldn't suddenly make you thrilled about it if you're not. Once he saves you, of course, he's dead so it's a little late to think about changing your mind.Aisynia wrote...

These kids you are talking about.... are they in the Alienage during the Origin or when you come back?
Because I don´t remember being able to talk to kids except for the one whose brothers are lazy as humans.

Of course not, I'm just saying that there's nothing preventing someone from roleplaying that way, and it being valid.

They deserve death anyways, these soldiers.
Not only from my elf´s POV, but also from my human noble POV. Because they are f*cking deserters - instead of trying to kill wardens and wh0re around in taverns they should fight darkspawn.
Damned assclowns.
And another proof that City guards in games are nothing but cannon fodder for the player^^

Go into the back alley during the origin, there are two kids back there playing a game. You can talk to them and tell them stories of elven heroes. Save before talking to them if you want to explore all the dialogue, you can tell several variations on three different stories.
My favorite is Tathas

Did they believe whatever you said? I tried to pick the most believable one.Go into the back alley during the origin, there are two kids back there playing a game. And since my CE is usually a rogue, I like the Tathas story best too.
