 Ok, so i have not been able to locate any information on a Bow user and Assassin and Duelist.

I was wondering if anyone had done any testing on these to see if the skills actually benefit a Bow user or not

Just reading the skills it would lead me to believe that they do, since none of them say melee combat

They don't. An archer should get the bard (party buffs) and ranger talents.

Still going to take them for the stat buffs anyway, ranger and bard talents are less than worthless

Well, you don't have to take them for the abilities, assassin in particular is nice for the crit, and the mark of death ability can still be used by archers. Dueling from a duelist gives you both the attack bonus and the defense bonus when using a bow (tested this myself), so that's still nice.



Also bard talents are very nice, maybe not for your character specifically, but party buffs and cc is quite powerful.
