I've installed both Mass Effect 2 discs on my Xbox, (listed as 14GB total) but the game still asks me to swap discs during play. Is there any way to get rid of this?
Installing on Xbox HD, still asks for CD swap.

Without modding you Xbox, and running the risk of getting banned for Xbox live, none that i have ever found. it is how Microsoft/Xbox does verification that you have the physical disks for the game.

I totally understand needing a disc in the drive, but I don't get why I would need to swap, authentication should be just fine with CD 1 or 2.

Indeed, the first swap from disk 1 to disk 2 at the middle and then, the second swap from disk 2 to disk 1 at the end... very, very useless... haven't you got disk 1 to play the first part? or better, haven't you got 2 disks to install the whole game??... duh!... well, a very clever and bright way to stop piracy....

because then two people could install & play the game with one purchase.
therefore microsoft makes you have the disc physically in the drive when it starts to use content from that disc to do an anti-piracy check.
the only way around that will be when they release it as a "games on demand" product & you download the whole thing.
