I hope it's an armor pack that brings ME1's armors and other new stuff.
Oh man the Battlemaster,Rage, and Beserker armor for grunt would be sweet.
Yes Wrex did have the best looking armor in Mass Effect. But the one thing we never got to see was Wrex's family armor. It would be great if we get a mission where Wrex hands the armor down to Grunt for some reason.
Either that or bring Wrex back(pretty please)and let him wear it.

Seeing how the ME1 DLC was, I'm not going to hold my breath, but it better be a giant 20 hour expansion pack, I Don't want to play a new game because than I would have to planet scan again.
Don't you get the Long service bonuses at the start of a new game? I get I think 255k of each mineral at the start of a new game. Haven't had to scan in several playthroughs
Yeah, but you'll still have to planet scan to get more upgrades.

From what I read on Wikia, this is what you need from minerals and credits to buy upgrades fro weapons etc.
195,000 palladium
225,000 platinum (+50,000 for Med-bay Upgrade)
220,000 iridium
35,000 element zero (+5,000 for each Advanced Training and +2,500 for each Retrain Powers)
1,250,000 credits (this includes discounts)

Its also a great way for a developer to expand there story. There is only so much stuff you can put on discs, so DLC gives them a way to expand. For me this is great as there have been loads of 1 player games in the past that could have had there life extended until the next sequal arrives.

I am thinking this is likely to be Liara's DLC since it was obviously pre-planned before the game came out just like Kasumi so if it is so then there's likely the Shadow Broker on the horizon.....all we really know about tha Shadow Broker from Liara's voice files is that he is a male and an organic.

The Liara DLC is also a pretty good possibility. I can imagine the only reason it hasn't been released just yet is because it is going to have something to do with the character from Redemption (don't want to spoil it by revealing his name for this who haven't read it). Now that the series is over, it very well could be the Liara DLC.
Although, I still think there is a possibility that the new DLC might have something to do with Horizon. It seems rather odd that the only other capitalized word in that sentence was Horizon. It could have been simply because it is a title, but eh why not be the conspiracy theorist here? Makes things more interesting.

Well don't forget, that Horizon is where Sheppard ran into his/her LI from ME1 maybe....?
It is, however I doubt if there was a DLC involving Horizon that it would be exclusively about that one particular LI. It could involve an encounter with the LI, if you had one, but keep in mind plenty of people did not necessarily take LIs from the first game. In the three Shepards I have, one of them didn't get with Ashley, one did get with Ashley, and one chose to let Ashley die instead of Kaidan. In two of those Shepards, a DLC focused on that one specific LI would be irrelevant. I would welcome a DLC like this if they planned to make some for the ME2 LI's as well though.
As I said, it's likely I am wrong and making too much of something out of nothing. Regardless, I still find it rather interesting to think that perhaps the title is a play on a pretty common, everyday phrase and that the mention of "Besides Collector's kidnapping colonists" in combination with it could be hints as to what the new DLC is.
I am REALLY hoping I am wrong and that we are actually looking at the Liara Shadow Broker DLC. Redemption has left me wanting more of a resolution to the Shadow Broker that only a DLC or Expansion shall satisfy. Hopefully I get to take that person out.

The only reason I dont want to see Liara and Shadow broken in a DLC, is because I think it would be more apropriate t be in ME3, since it is a story that concerns us from the foundations of ME1. And because Shadow Broker still hasn't affected Shephard in any way (he is just another criminal for him/her), I think it could play a bigger role in ME3. Maybe even handling over information about Reapers... I don't know...
It would be a pitty to spoil so good a story, in just a DLC...

I can see your point, however the story of the Shadow Broker really doesn't have much impact on the first game. The only time I remember him becoming relevant is when I found Cerberus documents that one of his associates was willing to acquire. Even then, your decision seems to have had little impact on the game since even after two years, the information doesn't appear to have effected Cerberus in a detrimental manner.
As much as I think the Shadow Broker makes for a nice little side villain, I would prefer to see this situation addressed in an expansion or a very large DLC than I would like to see it in the third installment. If the Shadow Broker wants to offer information that will offer aid in the fight against the Reapers, that is great. However, the third game already seems like it has enough situations going on in it as is. The Shadow Broker is only a "mini-villain" and while I don't want a small DLC to handle the situation, I also don't really see any need to put it in ME3 with everything else that is already being resolved in it.

Ultimately it's up to Bioware to decide. But I hardly think this would be a matter that is going to be left unresolved.

1. New armor (the arc armor), maybe a new heavy pistol, maybe the mini-gun heavy weapon.
2. Alternate appearance pack #2. (Tali or Miranda will be in it, not both)
these above 2 will be released quickly. The gear will be free to Cerberus members.
3. Major DLC: this will involve missions, possibly include Liara or Kaiden/Ash, but will not be released for another month, maybe two if it is a more significant DLC.
