1. they will have the voice actors availabe due to them recording their voices for ME3, and
2. it will bridge any gap between ME2 and ME3
most, if not all, dlc we will see before then will be like Kasumi.... hardly any or none of the big name voices. they will be all new or 'in house' voice actors.

Except that:
1) Mark Meer has confirmed he did vice acting after the development of ME2 ended.....probably other actors as well.
and:
2) Awakening for DAO was released relatively soon after DAO came out and there was no wait for DA2 to be near release.

to answer 1) well he would have to do more voice acting so we wouldn't have a silent shepard during kasumi's mission.
perhaps i didn't explain it quite right, wot i mean is more the big name actors, like martin sheen. i don't see him coming back to just do a couple of lines of script.
2) most of the voice actors in DA awakening are new ppl. there are reletively few of the original cast there.

It's not worth 160 MS points.Blk_Mage_Ctype wrote...
I feel that too many people are being overly pessimistic about Alternate Appearance Pack #2.
Yeah, AAP1 sucked, but after all the complains it got, I'm sure the 2nd one will be alot better.
Imagine if AAP2 contained the following...
1.) Blonde Miranda in Cerberus Armor (minus helmet)
2.) Blue Suns Armor for Zaheed
3.) That Green Environment Suit from the concept art for Tali
Tell me that's not worth 160 MS Points.
On topic, I'd rather have actual armor than reskins or color changes.

Am I the only one that wants a giant expansion pack for ME2? Because the game just gets boring replaying the same missions.
get use to it because if they were gona expand the game they may as well just make a directors cut of the game. i agree that alot if not all side quests were short but some of the stuff people wine about is stupid for instance toggle helemts for example. why is that so wanted? id rather have them expand the side quests by making it more than what 30 seconds to a minute gameplay?

That
just feeled wierd. It would be like when in ME1 Joker would tell us to
go on the mission on Planet Virm. and after a 30 second blackout one of
our crewmates would just be gone. >____<
PS: Does this
forum have no real spoiler tag? Would make my life a lot easier. ^^

Don't forget that Awakening had been in development for quite some time by the time Origins came out.

We all may want more Mass Effect goodness to play, but there's a point where you need to realize that the more BioWare expands ME2, the more ME3 suffers. I wouldn't want an expansion pack if it ended up delaying ME3's release by a year.

I doubt we'll ever see an expansion on the scale of Awakening. ME was conceived as a trilogy, I can't see BioWare investing effort into what would effectively be a Mass Effect 2.5. Why should BioWare waste time and resources on that when they can use that same time and resources to make ME3 even better?

Yeah, too bad EA already announced something big for Mass Effect Q1 2011...

It's believed the 2011 release pertains to Dragon Age 2.

It refers to both. 2/1/2011 is the DA release while "first quarter" 2011 is a something with "far reaching consequences" for the ME universe. Its probably an expansion, as at the point we would be one year away from ME 3 assuming the normal 2 year development cycle.

This is true, but I felt like I wasted money on Awakening. >>
