Finished ME2 campaign awhile back and thought I'd dive in again with the new addons that had become available. Installed  the new clothing pack, great no problem, played a couple of side missions. increased my Paragon level chatting to some of the team, no problem.
Then I installed the Kasumi addon (which I paid some extra points for) then ran ME2 and got the lovely windows 'ME2 has stopped working' which kicks in just after it gets to the 'Press any key to continue' window.

Soooo, tried removing Addons from there respective folders and rebooting - that didnt work .  Then un-installed and re-installed ME2. (backed up my saved game files on exterior drive)

Still no joy.

Tried running as Admin

Updated all Win 7 stuff

Updated my graphics drivers

UAS is turned off  (Of course)

...guess what...STILL NOT WORKING!

Heres my system spec for ref

Win 7 Ultimate x 64 (Recent clean install not upgrade)
CPU: Core i7 965 @ 3.20 ghz overclocked to 3.8 ghz
GPU: 2x Nvidia GTX 280 in Sli config
6GB Ram
Loads of disk space

All my other games, BFBC2, COD MW2, Just Cause, Batman AA, Dirt 2 and Crysis Warhead, work just fine!

did you forget to install the 1.01 game patch by any chance? >> http://social.biowar...age/me2-patches
