I played through insanity a few times in ME2 (sentinel and infiltrator), and yeah, it was tough but generally it was fine except for a few spots (collector ship, horizon, garrus recruitment). Thinking I would go back and play through ME1 on insanity, I started a new Shepard adept in ME1. Holy s***, I am getting my ass pwned in every encounter, even side quests. Bring Down the Sky took me two evening to complete, and Rogue VI mission took several deaths and reload.
So, imo ME1 insanity is way harder. Possibly in part because of the cumbersome Mako, part because of the cover system not being refined, and part because no global cooldown on powers is not as useful. Thoughts/debate?
