I've been going through the character creator attempting to establish which god is represented by which tattoo and I think I've matched up one with another being 50/50. If no tattoo is 0 on the slider then 9 and 10 appear to be dedicated to Sylaise - elven goddess of the hearth. 7 and 8 appear to be either June or Andruil.

Anyone able to work out which gods the other tattoos go with? http://dragonage.wik.../Elven_Pantheon has all the elven gods for easy reference if someone wants to give it a shot.

We need to make some sort of compendium of Dalish tattoos. I want to make a Dalish Elf char and I would like to be authentic.

I would also really like to know which gods are symbolised by which tattoos! Roleplayers would enjoy this in particular.

After all, if a character goes out and gets a tattoo on her/his entire face, it's got to be meaningful.

No it doesn't.

It could just mean that they're an idiot or one time they drank too much during a party.

I like the idea of tattoos, and especially like the one on my main char, a Rogue Dalish Elf (see avatar). The tat looks so much better close up in a cut scene.

I wish the devs would have been a little more clever in the tattoo selection. Why couldn't they have made separate tats for the forehead, nose, cheeks, jaw, and chin? That way, we'd have had more variety to make a more specialized, unique blend of tats for our char. (Bioware, are you listening? Perhaps this could be adjusted for DA:O 2? And what about jewelry __ earrings, necklaces, etc? So what if you must include two DVDs for more specialized content?) :-)

Seems like nearly everyone in Dragon Age got drunk and decided the facial tattoo was the way to go then. :)

It would be nice just to know which tattoo goes with which Dalish God just out of interest.

That's something I'd be interested in knowing, especially since all Dalish wear tattoos, as opposed to the other races or city elves. For them the tattooing has great signifigace and now I'm wondering if I put 'I like to bake cookies' on my forehead instead of 'tracks falcons on cloudy days'

I'd like to know if this has been worked out, too. It's one of the neat details in the game I'd like to expanded on.
