I don't see what is so wrong with allowing up to 2 human players to jump in as your squas members.  You're still the boss of the game but what's wrong with having your friends over xbpx live jump in and play as Garret or Legion?

I understand that will be boring for random people but for a group of your friends it'd be awesome. It just means they could just increase the difficulty modes and make the game more challenging. I mean aside from how awesome the story is for Bioware but if you're seriously arguing that the story alone makes ME then you're smoking something. It's the combination of the 3rd person shooter, combat features, and interactive story line that make the game.

I hope they put a co-op feature in.  I hope it's where only you can invite your friends and not have random people play.  I can understand why people fear (and yeah it's fear) a co-op feature.  However if co-op jus means they play as a squad member and are compitent unlike the AI then I say bring it on.  That'd be a great addition to the game.:o

BW should concentrate fully on singleplayer and the story aspects of the game.

Multiplayer would just distract them and I don´t want that.

If I want multiplayer I play GoW or Battlefield BC2.

I still don't see how it would distract from it. Everyone here is making it out to be like multiplayer would be the main focus.

I'll be honest Mass Effect Story is decent. It's not so much the story that's great ( I mean many of the characters are cookie cutter characters) Its the decision making aspect of the game that makes the story deeper, and its the ability to shape their outcomes that makes the story better. Least in my opinion its not the overall story.

Which is why I really don't see a big deal with wanting to have one more person in on the combat and running around aimlessly aspect of it with ya. Personally it'd be refereshing because lets face it the AI in ME is dumb you might as well have shep fight an entire geth army alone with how dumb the AI is.

Also again I really thing the RPwing-nuts have really let the "story" aspect of the game go to their head. If you didn't have the combination of combat decisions, decent (decent not best) action based combat, and coupled with the most in depth decision system ever you would basically just have a movie where you pick the outcomes.

Lets not forget the no where in game cannon does RPG mean single's mixer only. I'd love for my friends on XBL to help me play ME and when I'm running from place to place making sure I picked up everything it'd be nice to have a human buddy.
