I don't like default Manshep. He looks...weird. And it will always bug me that he has a scar modelled into his haircut when there are no scars in ME2. Default Shepard, you contradict canon!

I made a decent Shepard which I've used in both ME and ME2, but every time I try to make a new character I get to the first cutscene and do a huge facepalm when I realise that what I made on the creation screen doesn't translate well to three dimensions.
The hair, especially, is really annoying. They all look plastic or ridiculous, the only one I can tolerate using is the close shave one. I made much more realistic (human) faces with Dragon Age, even though they were less 'realistic' options.
I doubt Bioware will be able to change it for ME3, however (for probably the same reason they didn't change it between ME and 2). It may prove too difficult to 'translate' the facial settings from the less complicated ME/ME2 system into a (potentially) more complicated ME3 system, and if they did make a new one people would be upset that 'their Shepard' now looks different. So we're probably stuck with ugly Sheps for 3 games :/

trying to get a good looking maleshep? I mean christ It must be the 20th time I've tried I'm surprised I have not gone insane, I think there's something wrong with me.
anybody else this stubborn or anybody else have too much time on their hands?
It is incredibly hard to make a pretty FemShep.
For MaleShep it´s not hard, though - it is impossible.

Gave up about seven attempts later. It can't be done. Only average joes or uglies.

I also found it not too hard to make a good looking MaleShep.
For my FemSheps I need like 30 tries to get 1 halfway decent looking one.

i go so far as to reach a rough draft, play the game and when i create my next character i will continue to make improvements upon the design based on the camera angles i saw from the previous playthrough.
