Good afternoon.

I just downloaded and installed Dragon Age Awakenings from Direct2Drive. The installation of Awakenings over my original Dragon Age went off without a hitch. No errors reported.

I can launch both the original, and Awakenings.

I can import my character from the post victory save (yes I made Morigan have a demon baby :innocent: ), or create a new character in Awakenings:unsure:. No matter whether I start a new character, or import another the game does the same thing.

Once I have loaded in and watched the intro I am presented with 3 Darkspawn enemies. I have 1 companion, and 1 NPC. I set the companion up with some basic tactics, and start in.

I right click an enemy, and my character rushes forward to attack - once. One swing, and then stops and stands there. The enemy doesn't respond except to immediatly regenerate large tics of health. I glanced to see what the companion is doing, and she's standing there:whistle:. The NPC fighter is also just looking ahead (the other direction).

So I fiddled around, and defeated the 3 enemies by backstabbing them (note that I have to rightclick once for each swing of my weapons - annoying). Cut scene and then move into the courtyard. Hoping for the best.

Enemies are running at me (ok this looks good - an ogre!). The enmies stop, and I'm left with the same situation:blush:. I can't kill these guys. They regenerate the damage I do as fast as I can deal it (probably faster).

So I loaded up one of my saves in the original, and load up to gight the archdemon. We zoned in, Shale rushed in and started bellowing, Morigan started casting spells, and Lewellen and I start beating on the Demon with Bows and Swords. Everyone is doing their jobs, and following their tactics.

So can anyone please help me with my problem with Awakening?
