I follow a strict vegan, organic diet, no junk food. I only eat the foods which my body can put to good use.

WAHAHAHAHAHA. Didn't you say you weightlift? And you're on a vegan diet? ROFLMAO Thanks for the laughs dude. You clearly have no clue about weightlifting.

This thread is full of laughs.  Read the post about his ninja skills, and sword skills.  He is like Napeolean Dynamite level of dumb.

Busomjack wrote...

But can those people ahead of me sword fight, wrestle, and have stealth skills? No, I didn't think so.

I'm not a full time marathoner. Rather, running is part of my overall routine to build myself into a perfect killing machine.

Yup by reading his threads you lose 5.7 IQ points per page.

"what does a vegen diet have to do with weightlifting? (yes I'm dumb so don't ask)"

Weightlifting requires heavily on amino acids and proteins to rebuild muscle structure, as they reweave they become thicker and stronger.

Nothing equals tuna :)  per servings for me anyways. 26 grams per can, 3 cans. 78 grams loaded :P

No. Nuts are high on saturated fats (which is not a healthy option in high dosage). Eating small amounts of nuts is beneficial cause they contain good fats too. The problem is, nuts don't have the same gram for gram protein content of red meat/fish/chicken. Every day you'd have to eat a kilogram or more of just nuts to satisfy a bodybuilder's protein requirement. And that's just for beginners...

Yeah, scratch the cholesterol bit, peanuts have none of that. But they have saturated fats which are unhealthy and in high doses can have long lasting consequences for the circulatory system. If you're weight lifting and eating a lot of peanuts at the same time, you're only going to get fat and lose definition. On the other hand if you're killing yourself in the gym and you're eating vegan food, instead of putting on muscle you're going to lose some. When your body doesn't have the necessary fuel source to build muscle (protein) it starts breaking muscle down to use it as energy. A vegan diet doesn't provide enough protein... Unless he takes 140-150 grams of protein supplements per day along with his vegan diet, which is gonna cost him a fortune and still won't yield better results than eating meat.

Good luck in your future marathons.

Thank you, but it will be my iron will and nerves to steel which carry me to victory.  Luck is an illusion for the weak.

That kind of attitude will always get you flak. Someone wishes you well and you come back saying "I don't need wishing well, i rule teh world!"

Or Soy protein, but soy protein has estrogenic properties, horrible source of proteins if you are considering weightlifting or bodybuilding. Vegan diet for a weightlifter is the 2nd most ridiculous thing I have seen in this forum.

Yeah that seems very counterproductive. I personally don't care about athletics but that was one of the things that you learn in High school.
