I'm not going to bother commenting on the unbelievably ignorant comments about protein(look up amaranth, hemp, pea, rice, quinoa, mushroom, legumes, nuts, etc...although I would agree soy is not a good protein source. I consume very little soy.).
Also, nuts are low in saturated fat. The majority of fat from nuts comes from mono-unsaturated or polyunsaturated fat. It's red meat which is high in saturated fat. That isn't a huge issue though as saturated fat really isn't all that bad. Saturated fat from plant sources like coconut are rich in lauric acid which your body prefers to burn rather than store, and thus it will raise your metabolism. I eat two to four tablespoons of coconut oil everyday and it makes my skin and hair look incredibly sexy.
I don't care if you guys want to talk trash but I will NOT stand for being told that I'm fabricating my race results.
So below is a picture of me carrying my race bib and I decided to wear the same clothes I wore on race day.
You can look up my results by going to the Derby marathon website(2010 mini marathon)
http://www.derbyfestivalmarathon.com/
If that is not "proof" enough for you then it's obvious you're just pushing my buttons.

Also, don't tell me 13.1 miles in 1:37:46 isn't impressive. I was in the top 300 in a race with about 11 thousand people.
That is more than amazing, it is x-treme!
Here is the full size picture btw so you guys have no excuse to claim that that person isn't me.

Also...based on this picture I no longer believe you that you are 27 and the people in your gym think you look nineteen. 39 maybe.
Finally congrats on the race. Having the Neanderthalensis gene must have helped. You know all that hunting and gathering. You are also an inspiring example of low brow.

Just one question and don't take it the wrong way but do you ever change you clothes
Of course. When running though you really want to wear light clothes with as little insulation as possible.
About a year ago I ran a 10 K wearinga long sleeve shirt and sweat pants because it was snowing lightly outside. Big mistake, my body temperature skyrocketed and I hit the wall. Ran another 10 K several months later and finished in 43 minutes.
Clothing really makes a huge difference.

I think it is quite suitable in your case that they call the thing you wear a bib.

Every racer's number is referred to as a bib whether it be marathoning or short distance sprinting. I am not 27. I'm still 26 for 8 more days and I think you're just saying I look old to get under my skin, it's not working because all my gym buddies say I look 19.
Don't mistake me for having physical prowess and nothing else. I am skilled in the art of sword fighting and hand to hand combat amongst others. Such skill is an art that requires strength, finesse, agility, and a razer sharp mind.

Seriously, if you really didn't care, you wouldn't be posting here. This is the Bioware forums I realize and I love Bioware games. When I feel like discussing a Bioware game, I will post in the proper forums.
This however is the off-topic forums and I created this thread to talk about running related sports for those who share the passion.

Firing a gun only requires pouting and pulling a trigger, if you have a
shotgun it should have a pretty wide spread. Isn't that easier and superior to sword fighting, hand to hand e.t.c..? You should have just bought some guns, that'ill show society.

As far as your physical prowess.....staring into the camera as if you are about to make love to it and flexing a bicep doesn't prove anything really.
And also what good does sword fighting do you in this day and age?
