Did you not read my email from amazon on the first page. THose that preordered the CE before this option was announced will not get the option.DocSun wrote...
XD I hope they do this with the CE too... I wanna play as soon as possible!
I guess I sit here hoping the CE *is* worth it. I am getting it "mostly" for the additional game content. Never purchased a CE before for *any* game, but Amazon says that the CE Game Guide will be here on the 4th, and CE on the 5th (hopefully before I need to leave for the weekend to attend a conference).
Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only extra in game content included with the CE that's not included with the regular version is three unique items correct? From the DA main website it appears everything else in game comes with any new game.
Yeah, I didn't realize that until recently. That's going towards ME2 unless it expires quickly.endaround wrote...
Don't forget you also get a $10 credit with Amazon. The only way you'll get a better deal is if Target has Dragon Age as one of their pre-order cards.

That may be what they say, but its not my experience with amazon. I've preordered a number of items before they got release-date shipping and was able to switch. I think, due to the limited supplies of the CE, that they haven't been able to assure that they'll be able to do release-date shipping.Phoenixblight wrote...

File me under slow, but I don't understand why it matters when you pre-ordered the CE as long as it's been successfully ordered. You can edit shipping options on pre-orders without canceling them, so the first part of that email seems to mean they still aren't certain and you should continue waiting and checking back.Phoenixblight wrote...
"Thank you for writing about the Release-Date Delivery option for "Dragon Age; Standard edition". We only offer the Release-Date Delivery option after we've confirmed available inventory with our suppliers and are certain we can meet our delivery promise to you.
Unfortunately, it appears that you placed your order before the Release-Date Delivery option was available. In order to get that delivery option now that it is available, you will need to cancel your existing pre-order and place a new order for this item. If you enter an eligible shipping address during checkout when placing your new order, the Release-Date Delivery shipping option will appear among your shipping choices."
Those that reserved the CE will not be able to change their order to Release date shipping. So the people that were smart enough to reserve the game prior to this option get the shaft.
