I am sorry to keep bugging you all, but...Im going to anyways! Thanks to Chewy, I kind of got this worked out, I have the Human Female Hair showing on my Elven Female, I even figured out how to adjust the positioning...another snag I think I might have....

The Human Female Hair Base I guess it is, doesnt quite fit on the Elven Female Head of course, so although I may be able to adjust the hair to sit on the head the scalp/head base is still going to be off because of the size. My question then is, can I replace the headbase/scalp with an elven female one, and if so..which files am I looking to extract and from which .erf? and am I imputting that into the original .mmh and .msh files?  (Via the Toolset)

Thanks guys, I hope I didnt confuse you to much. I tried to pretend I knew what I was talking about...Posted Image

Oh have you got that hairstyle there(your avatar) for your elf? I wanted to use that one for my elves but couldnt as it only appears for HF. Posted Image

Could you please <3give me a link for instructions on how to do it? I think that hair is so pretty and edgy and would look great on the elf ladies.:happy:Posted Image

I agree, thats what I am trying to figure out now. I have it almost in place but the scalp/headbase is to big, its set for human..so Im trying to figure out if its possable to change the headbase to an elven one and how..what files I will need and what erf file they are in, ect...Hopefully someone will be able to answer this for me!

As soon as I get it figured out I shall definatly leave you a message with how it was done!

You will only change the issue from the hair not fitting on the head to the head not fitting on the shoulders. You will have to actually change the model if you want it to look proper.

I have been trying to figure out how to make a hm hairstyle fit onto an em.  I have imported the hair mmh into 3dsmax, but I am unsure how to know the location of the em head for hair.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a read through this thread. It covers scaling up Elf head/hair/eye meshes to fit to the Human body, so it details the processes you'll need to use. You need to go in the opposite direction, scaling down Human meshes to fit an Elf, so you'll need to play around a bit to determine the proper scaling factor/s to use. With hair, you can probably just wing it a bit and hand scale it to roughly the right size, at least for hair meshes that don't have any exposed scalp. For meshes that do have exposed scalps, you'll have to delete the Human scalp and import the Elf scalp, as the two won't match.
