Hello guys, im in a bit of a problem here, my CD drive screwed up and i cant play as it wants me to "authenticate the disk"
Is there any way to go past this?

I've tried making a CD image and using it but turns out faulty and does not work..

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Download a crack, you payed for the game so I don't see the harm in it.

That's a violation against the license agreement you signed but I doubt BioWare cares.

Well, there is a way without breaking the EULA. Register your game in the EA Download Manager and download the digital version of the game. But that would need a reinstall of the game.

Not exactly sure, but license agreement you click on install doesnt have any legal weight anyway AFAIK. So unless I am completely wrong, you can crack your own game without any moral nor legal consequences as it is purely for your own convenience. If you copy your game to someone else, thats completely different story but its copyright issue, not license agreement.

In Germany this is definitely true. Cracking and copying is legal as long as it is for personal use only.

Of course I don´t know about the legal situation in other states.
